Toren's POV

The past week i been busy as hell. Lala been mad at me too. Im not tripping because when she sees her surprise, she gone die! Tor turned four and we put her in soccer now. She'll be starting school pretty soon.

This past week i been trying my best to buy Lala the PERFECT shop! Yesterday i finally found her one. Its a nice building. Its large too. She gonna love it.

Lala's POV

Toren and i have a couple of things to discuss. Like why hes always out now. Get a certain phonecall and have to leave. Ive been holding it in because i hate arguments. When he gets home, ill tell him though.

About 20 minutes passed and he walked in. He made his way towards me and i got up and came towards him too.

me: we need to talk Toren.

toren: wait baby. I think i should go first. You know how i said i wanted you to be at home with Tor and not work?

I just nodded and folded my arms. Lets see what the hell he has to say.

tor: well this week i been working on buying, yes buying you a shop. And i did, baby!! Tomorrow you can start picking out anything youll need for the shop. Its the empty building downtown!

My heart skipped a beat when he said that! I jumped on him and wrapped my arms around his body! I love him so much. This examples A LOT!! I got down and kissed his cheek.

me: thank you so much baby! I cant believe this!!

toren: its nothing ma. We'll have a party in two days to celebrate. Everyone bringing presents like hair products, combs, and other shit. Plus the things your gonna buy. Now what you wanted to tell me?

me: nothing now, you answered my question and solved my problem! So what your about to get into today?

toren: Adin and Destiny planned a barbeque at the beach. Get dressed.

I went upstairs and pulled out my two piece swimming suit. Tor walked in the room and got on the bed. My baby growing up!

Tor: mommi, where are you going?

me: were going to the beach. Go get one of your swim suits that you wanna wear.

I pulled out this black two piece with a cover up that was black also. Its like a really thin shirt. I grabbed my tan hat with black ribbon around it. (Some shit that neyo wears) and my black flipflops. Now i gotta get Tor things together.

As i was walking to Tor's room, Toren walked pass me and slapped me on my ass.

me: damn boy, i need that!

He just smirked with his sexy ass. When i walked in Tor was finishing up. She had on a pink one piece and black sandals on.

tor: can i bring my buckets?

me: yea. put all your beach toys in your bag and when your finish sit on the sofa downstairs. Ill be there shortly.

I walked in the room and saw Toren slipping on some white and blue swim trunks and a darker blue tank with slippers. I grabbed the bag and packed it with sun block, towels, and my camera.

toren: you ready baby?

I was just getting my sun glasses on when he asked. I nodded and we walked down stairs.

Toren: come on Tor daddy gone teach you how to drive today.

Tor was all excited and smiling from ear to ear.

We got in the car and toren put Tor in his lap. He controlled the gas and breaks while she had the steering wheel. He let Tor drive all the way to the beach. I was shocked that she even did good. In about 15, we made it to the beach. We got out and Toren got the bags.

We approached them with hey's and hi's. Sam was handling the grill. I sat at the table with Lola, Lele, and Destiny. I missed hanging with my girls.

me: hey yaaaall!!

they all said hey with smiles. They was acting werid like they knew something i didnt know. I didnt ask though.

Tor: can i go in the water with mantha and Lay?

me: yea stay were i can see you too!

She ran off but played in the shallow water.

me: so Destiny, whats up with the wedding ?

Destiny: we called it off. Since im going back to school.

me: ohhh okay.

Lola: i dont know about yall but i need to tan. We all do!

We stretched our towels out and laid out and let the sun take over. They guys were all talking shit next to us.

Krit: one of yall asses bout to start cooking.

lele: shut UP boy.

Toren's POV

Me: yo Chris, when is a good time to.ask her?

Chris: get Tor to come and ask her to play in the sand and say hey can we talk then you hit her with it. You got the ring, right ?

me: yeah its right here in my pocket.

chris: now go get Tor.

Gunna: you sure you want this type of commitment?

me: it was a commitment when she had my child. Marrying her is only right.

Krit: aight. Do it!

I signed and went towards the water to where Tor was playing.

me: hey Tor, come here.

tor: yes daddy?

me: go to your mommi and ask her to help you build a sand castle.

tor: but i wanna play in the water.

me: ill take you to chucky cheese this weekend.

I knew Tor loved it there so she was about to do it. Its ashame how much i want this!

Tor went over to her and they started playing in the sand. I just stood by the water thinking. Was i really ready for this? But i wanna spend the rest of my life with this girl. When i first met her i knew she was the one. From the day i seen her in pinegroove at the court, i knew i wanted her. When i got ready to go over and ask I turned around and saw Lala right behind me.

lala: you okay sweety? Whats on your mind?

I cant lie and say its nothing because if she ask, she knows its something im thinking about.

me: look Lala, i love you. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. You mean the world to me. Every day i wake up and see you by my side, i know im blessed.... I knew i loved you and wanted to be with you from the first time i laid eyes on you. La'shawn Marie Gorben, will you marry me?
