Chapter 5: Meeting New People

I wake up from my long nap and look at my alarm clock. Omygod!! It's 8:00. I slept for almost 4 hours. I get up slowly and walk out the door. Annas sitting in a bean bag watching some weird show.
"Hey sleepy head, your finally awake."
"Yep. Ima get dinner you want some?"
"Ya, let's go." Anna and I walk out of the door and head to the café. Once we get there we get in line. I grab a grilled cheese sandwich. A salad. An apple. And a cranberry grape juice. I decided to not get a dessert because we still have brownies at our room.
"Ready?" I ask Anna.
"Yep, let's go," we arrive at our dorm in a few minutes. I open the door and we walk in. I set my dinner down and grabbed the box of brownies.
"Hey want to watch a movie?"
"Ya" I say in return.
"What movie?"
"Um.. How about The Mortal Instruments, The City Of Bones."
I reply back.
"OK" Anna puts it on and we watch the movie. It's about 10:00 when the movie is done.
"That was a good movie, well I'm off to bed, night Anna."
"Night Kate", she replies with yawn. I yawn to and walk to my room. I plug my phone in and lay in my bed, pulling the covers over me.

Beep.Beep.
The alarm rings through my ears as it goes off.
" ughhhh" I hate getting up in the morning. I slowly drag myself out of bed. I put on a pair of tan colored breeches, and an aeropostel shirt. Then I brush through my hair. After I grab a granola bar and backpack and head out of the dorm to the barn. I takes about 5 minutes to get there.
"Hey Silver, how you doin girl?"She answers with a nicker. I hurry to get her tack and halter , along with her oster brushes. I slip the halter on her big head and lead her out into crossties. Then I brush her down, brush her mane and tail, and clean out her hooves.
Next I put the saddle pad on and then the saddle. I grab her girth and buckle it on. Running\walking, I grab her bridle and put it on and lead Silver out to the indoor arena. Once I have checked her girth again I put one foot into the stirrup and swing my right leg over her back. Grabbing the reins I cluck to Silver and say " walk" with a slight push of my legs.
"Alright, let's do some dressage." I say a little to loud. I warm her up around the arena and then go to the middle,X. Then I salute as if there were people watching me and I was in a show. I circle Silver in a twenty meter circle and trot to P. Then I canter towards X, and turn to track to O. Next I walk to I and do a half 20 meter circle and trot to X, I halt Silver and salute.
"That was pretty good Silvy" I say in huffs.
Clap. Clap.
"Wow that was really good." I look over to see who is talking to me and its a boy.
"Um thanks?!" I say a little startled.
"Hey I'm Jake,"
" I'm Kate." I say. He's kinda cute. He has icy blue eyes,dark brown hair.
I walk Silver over to him and halt. I get off and walk up to him. Turns out I am a lot shorter than him.
"You are in my History class right?"
" um I think so" I say.
"That's cool how about we sit next to each other tomorrow."
"Well, okay" I say extremely surprised.
"Well I will see you tomorrow then."
"Ya"
"Bye."
"Bye." And with that Jake leaves. I lead Silver back to the crossties and hook her up to them. Still smiling I untack her and brush her down. Then I put Silver in her stall and grab my backpack and head to school.

Hey. I finally updated. Sorry for the wait. I want you guys to know that I am sorry about the dressage stuff, I don't know dressage and I am trying really hard, so don't hate me lol. I hope you guys like it.
