Camila's P.O.V
The day was partly cloudy in Hogwarts lawns with traces of heavy rain in the morning. The black lake was more crowded than usual, while Hermione and Ginny were playing and betting who threw stone further. Luckily 'know it all' had woken up and didn't remember about last night, which saves us from her nerd attacks and a scolding that would take all day. A little further away from us, leaning against a rock, was Viktor Krum exercising in a T-Shirt Durmstrang and a small group of girls behind almost convulsing the big one. It would be a charm if Dinah didn't poked me and pointing to Hermione, who exchanged flirts looks with Hungarian guy.
"I don't know why they still believe in the sanctity of this girl", I grumbled flipping through my Herbology book.
Dinah laughed throwing her head against the tree that we were leaning against.
"There is no saint among us, right Karla Camila?"
I looked up confused by Dinah's voice.
"What are you trying to say?
"You know what I mean. I know your kissed Jauregui at the party and the whole school is talking about the scene of you two in Trelawney class", my eyes widened and she nodded. "That's it, dawg. Lauren is famous in school, everyone talk about every step she takes"
Clenched my jaw thinking about the people who were at that time talking about me at school. I was never popular, I'm just the girl who walks with the golden trio, but annoyed me was talking on my back for something they don't know.
"It was just a kiss", I said letting my eyes wander down to the lake. "We argued in divination class because she is headstrong and just that. We didn't speak in two days, she ignores me"
I'm sure my last sentence appeared as if I was hurt, and I was. I didn't like being ignored and there was Lauren, for two days past me and pretending not to see me, as if I was a ghost.
"Camila, listen to what I say: You don't know her", Dinah said looking at me serious. I sighed thinking she had no idea what she was saying. "Not to mention that she is a Slytherin, making it even less reliable"
Rolled my eyes.
"Said the girl who is a friend of... What did you say her name? Normani? She's also a Slytherin far as I know, and she's Lauren's friend"
Touché.
"There is a difference. Normani is outgoing and always talks to me in class, and Lauren... She just sits there, sitting quietly writing or lost eyes like she's not in this world. It gives me chills"
Dinah was completely wrong about what was saying, I couldn't know anything about Lauren, I was sure she was nothing frightening or otherworldly as saying. How could they? That angry face begged for affection and my protective instinct begged to care for her, it was almost magnetic.
How could I feel so protective about someone I didn't know?
"Whatever, Dinah. She didn't talk to me anyway" I shrugged reopening my book.
I wasn't in the mood to hear her crazy theories about my angry girl.
What?
Mine?
No, no, no!

Lauren's P.O.V
Despite the rain was over and Normani insisted that we should be to the Forbidden Forest drinking until the evening, I preferred to stay in the library studying more about the core of the wands. I needed more information when no one wanted to give me, not even Ollivander who insisted on say that the right time would come. Not everything needs to be a drama, you know? People can only tell you what is going on and end the doubts of someone else, especially my that left me on a tightrope without being sure of what to do. Dumbledore said he knew the same as me, but I also knew it was a lie, the old man is the most powerful and intelligent wizard that exists, for sure he knew about the mystery of my wand.
