As soon as her feet found the floor of the dark room, many feelings took possession of her mind in their respective forms. At first she felt sick and her legs gave way to her knees on the cold wood. Second, the tightness in her chest from the fact that she made love to Camila was stronger than she was, and Lauren began to cry. She looked at her hands that had touched every little part of that girl's body a few momentos ago, wishing she could relive those moments for the rest of her life; she had to keep it with her, to keep her safe in the sane part that still remained in her. And then came the anger, her whole body started to burn, demanding that she grind her teeth to keep calm in that situation. Lauren hated being there, hating in the depths of her being to submit to forget about Camila.

"You were with her," Snape's skeptical voice cut the silence of her pain. Lauren didn't dare look back, she was too emotionally tired to fight back. "Do you know the consequences of your act?"

"I don't care!" she answered weakly, wishing she could be away from that place and those people.

She just wanted to be with her love.

"You're so selfish," the man accused before throwing something metallic against the ground. Lauren looked at the object and frowned as she found a gold medallion with the letter S engraved in the center and a piece of paper attached to it. "You're not thinking about what could happen if..."

"Why do you care so much?" the brunette altered her voice as she stood up with agility. She stared at Snape face to face in the dim light of the dimly lit room. "What is your fucking problem with me, huh? Since I got here you've helped me like you really care about me, which I know very well that's not the case!" she nervously paced the room feeling every muscle in her body ache for the desire to lose control. She spotted the fallen necklace on the floor and picked it up and removing the glued paper while Snape remained silent near the door. "This necklace belonged to Salazar Slytherin, and has passed from heir to heir ever since. Make good use of it." she read aloud, turned to the man without expression. "What's this?"

Snape remained silent with his black eyes piercing Lauren.

"Be ready tomorrow morning, we have a commitment." he warned before turning his back on the girl and withdrawing from the room, closing the door.

Lauren kicked the dresser hard causing a loud bang, but she didn't care whether she would wake the others or not. She slipped the medallion around her neck since it belonged to her as the heiress, and she could swear she felt a chill run down the length of her spine as the icy metal found her bare chest beneath her blouse.

On the other side of the door, Snape stood leaning against it, staring into the dark hallway ahead of him. The teacher's mind was upset when he left the room without answering the brunette's questions, but there was only one thing he wanted to say at this moment:

"Forgive me, Lilian." he murmured in a whisper to the nothingness that held his secret like an old friend.

Camila's POV

I pushed unimportantly the door to the dormroom I shared with Dinah and Ginny in the Gryffindor Common Room, feeling every fiber of my body burn with the living memory of last night. My eyes were certainly wide, my heart pounding frantically, my sweaty hands and part of my torn pajamas, the fruit of the necessary violence of a Death Eater who had possessed me with greed.

Dinah jumped at the sound of the door slamming against the wall and ended up sprawled on the frozen ground. Ginny grunted, opened her eyes slowly until she saw my situation and prepared to sit on alert even though her eyes barely parted.
