Enjoy.
Despite the strenuous extra training that Camila exerted herself, her determination to find Lauren was what kept her strength to continue enduring Umbridge and her endless torture. Two weeks had passed since the night they had been together, there were few nights when the Gryffindor girl had slept hoping that in the middle of the night a black figure would invade the Shrieking Shack and take her in her arms again.
"Stupefy! Bombarda! Bombarba Maxima! Cistem Aperio!" she exclaimed a sequence of lethal spells against the wooden target that in the end turned to dust.
Camila took a deep breath, she was breathless with the amount of hours she had been training alone in the Room of Requirement, and always, on all targets, she imagined Voldemort to make her spells even more powerful.
Then in less than 5 seconds, other targets spellbound to launch only Expelliarmus began to surround her floating like true dementors. Camila acted fast, turned her body throwing Bombarda in the first target and then Diffindo in the second, causing the target to decrease in size and fall to the ground.
"Depulso!" she threw it against another target by throwing it against a wall. She felt a spell cast on her rear and, thanks to her good reflection, she had time to lower herself and to throw stupefy.
The last target fell to pieces to the ground, leaving Camila in a fighting position with her wand held, sweat dripping on her face and heart pounding. Her uniform was with the first buttons open, and her tie had no knot and her hair stuck to her face; she was a mess.
"You're very committed to it." a voice rang through the room, making Camila point the wand quickly to the owner of the voice. Her hand relaxed when she saw that it was only Alycia, her arms crossed, watching her. "Please don't make me one of your targets."
Camila wiped the sweat on her forehead, shaking her head.
"You shouldn't scare me like that, I may not control myself next time." she said earnestly as she gathered her things into her bag.
"Funny, I know someone who would say exactly the same words."
The Gryffindor girl abruptly stopped what she was doing to look Alycia straight in the eye.
"What do you want here? I already told you I'm not the best company these days." she watched the blonde walk slowly to her, with a calm expression, as if Camila's rude attitudes didn't affect her.
The green eyes were very expressive, they said more things than the young Gryffindor girl could interpret.
"Are you sure what you're doing? she asked carefully. You train day and night for someone you don't even know if she wants to be saved."
Camila narrowed her eyes at the blonde's words.
"She'll come back." she said between her teeth.
Alycia remained motionless, never leaving her brown eyes.
"Are you sure?" she asked matter-of-factly, and watched as Camila tightened her wand in her right hand. She hesitated. "That's what I thought."
"I didn't give you the fucking right to intrude on my life, Alycia!" the Gryffindor girl grunted, taking a step forward, standing just inches from the blonde. "So get out of my way, before I attack you."
Charms were triggered in that intense exchange of looks that happened between Hufflepuff girl and Gryffindor girl. They stared at each other with such intensity that they could get at any moment if it weren't for the sound of the door opening violently and a panting Dinah passing by.
