Listen to The Unforgiven - Metalica until the end of the chapter

Enjoy.

The day was cloudy and therefore dark. The whole school had already followed the faculty to the field near the Black Lake where a small round bleacher had been improvised that housed all the students, teachers and visitors. The bleacher was divided between green and red, where students from homes like Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were cheering for one of the competitors. The French girls were the most behaved, sitting elegantly and in silence. The Bulgarians guys screamed fiercely by the name of Viktor acclaiming the famous seeker.

"I don't like it at all." Said Hermione, watching what would be the final task.

The bleachers opened into an endless maze of foliage. The place was bewitched, but it hardly would be just a maze where competitors would run. That dark place held much more, Hermione had read in the history books about these games and they weren't at all pleasant.

"I never liked it." Ron commented, folding his arms. His sign for Harry was abandoned at his side, he was nervous and too eager to lift it or celebrate something. "Only one of them will be victorious."

"As long as they're all alive." Dinah chewed her nails. Her face was painted in Gryffindor colors. "I hope Lauren and Harry know what they're going to do."

In the tent of the contestants, just behind the bleachers, only Lauren and Camila were hugged. Lauren wore black trousers, combat boots, and a green-and-silver sleeve shirt split in the middle. Her hair was stuck in a steady ponytail and in her hands black gloves of fingers she had earned from Camila.

"I wish I could go instead." Camila murmured with her arms wrapped around Lauren's neck and her face buried in the brunette's shoulder.

Lauren laughed, hugging the little girl's waist.

"You couldnt bear the first task, my love." She joked, and was punched in the shoulder. "Ouch, Camila."

"Don't be an idiot now." The little girl grumbled, tidying the sleeve of the brunette's shirt. "Go there, do that task and come back to me, do you understand?"

"Understood, ma'am." The brunette saluted. "Any other orders?"

Camila pretended to think, then smiled.

"Yes, kiss me."

"Your wish is my command."

Lauren pulled her by the waist and pressed her lips into a slow kiss. How could she be so addicted to those lips? How could she live without her? She had unlearned such an act.

"Babe." Camila muttered in the kiss. "Can we make our relationship official when this stupid task is over?"

The surprise hit Lauren. Her eyebrows arched and a small smile formed on her lips as they stopped the kiss.

"Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?"

Camila blushed furiously and looked down uncomfortably.

"Maybe when you get back."

Someone yelled at Lauren's name outside the tent and the brunette knew it was time to go. She sighed at having to be separated from her love for now and squeezed Camila's jokingly.

"We'll talk about this later, okay?"

Camila nodded, Lauren kissed affectionately on her forehead.

"I love you." Lauren whispered giving kisses to Camila's face and the Latin girl smiled.

"I love you." The smallest answered uncertainly. Not from her feelings, but insecure with this task. "Come back to me, green eyes."

Lauren nodded, feeling her heart fill with love for the way Camila treated her. There was no doubt that that girl was her soul mate and nothing could change that feeling forever in her chest. Difficulty, the brunette turned her back to Camila and headed out of the tent following Filch to the middle of the arena while Camila went to the bleachers to find her friends.
