I get out of my car, walking up his drive way and knocking on his door. I shoved my hands in my pockets and looked around until the door opened. His girlfriend smiled and walked past me, she was heading to work. I waved goodbye as she drove off, then a hand was placed on my shoulder.
"Hey, (Y/N)." He said. I nodded in a way to say hello as we walked to my car. He tried grabbing my hand but I shoved it away.
"Stop now." I barked. He shook his head lightly.
"I can't. My girlfriend gave us time, you know. I still love you." He confessed, I shook my head as I sat down in the drivers seat.
"Yeah, you still love me after you left me for her at Pax in front of my family, our friends, and my fans."
"I'm sorry." I shook my head as we came to a red light.
"Sorry can't fix this." I mumbled. We sat in silence, and occasionally he would place his hand on my thigh that I would brush away. I parked the car and got out, shoving my hands in my pockets again as I waited for him.
"Wow." He whispered. The sun made the sky like a painting of pink and yellow, I had brought him to the beach so we can talk about what happened. We walked to the pier in silence, he had a smile on his face that I used to fall in love with which I knew he was trying to use to win me back.
"You wanna talk?" I said as we reached the end of the pier, I turned toward him, "let's talk."
"I just want you to know, I still love you. And I miss you, I never meant to hurt you." I closed my eyes and tilted my head, sighing in deeply then exhaling.
"That's a lie Craig, you know it." I said, opening my eyes. "All that I've done for you, it was just for you to use me."
"Please, understand that I made a mistake-"
"Oh yes you did. You messed with the wrong girl Craig, you could've just said we should see other people and it wouldn't have to be this way."
"What're you talking about? I said I was sorry."
"And I heard you, loud and clear." I shifted a bit so his back was to the ocean and my back was to the parking lot and the rest of the pier.
"You know, you look beautiful with the sunlight in your face." He rubs my cheek gently with his back hand. I pretend to melt into it and grab his shirt, I pull him down to my level and kiss him. It was a short kiss that he tried to make heated but I wouldn't let him. He seemed flustered by it and knew this was my chance. I looked behind me and to my sides..we were alone.
"We're alone you know."
"What're you gonna do, eh?" He tried to be flirty but that's not what I was aiming for, to be honest, I wasn't aiming for anything. I laid both hands on his chest and gave him a hard push. He went flying down to the waves, hitting the rocks before the ocean swallowed his unconscious body. I looked down, watching the waves calmly like nothing happened. I felt a sudden lift off my shoulders as I turned and walked back to my car.
He was finally gone.
