(Y/N) POV
It had been days, I haven't seen my family since the 'Angels' had taken me away. We fight the people with the star on their shoulder, having more and more power from each kill. Lui doesn't talk to me as much, he chooses to focus on his work and tell me little by little what it means to be a walking angel.
"(Y/N)." Lui interrupts my train of thought.
"Yeah?" I ask, turning around to look at him. He walked past me, bumping my shoulder.
"What have I told you about walking past a league angel? And not even responding to them?" I rolled my eyes, he sounded like my dad when my parents when we are on vacation. We walk up to the abandoned building in a discreet location by the ocean. Lui walked up to the door and knocked 3 times with his staff. A dark brown haired man opened it and smiled. He was tall and a little buff, and frankly, a bit cute.
"Well, hello there. I haven't seen you here before." He smiled, walking over to me and shaking my hand. I giggled and smiled back.
"My name is (Y/N), I'm new." I laughed. He smirked and hugged me amorously.
"Nice to meet you." He laughed. He pulled away and Lui pushed him further away with his staff. I rolled my eyes as he stared at the guy and growled.
"Come help us, Craig." The girl said, Craig nodded and looked at Lui.
"After you Prince Lui." He laughed. Lui growled again and walked away. Me and Craig walked side by side as we walked up stairs.
"Prince Lui?" I giggled
"He's been here a bit longer then any of us, he acts like he runs the show. Did you see him growl?"
"Thought it was a dog." He laughed along with me.
"Yeah, we've learned he does that when someone messes with something that's his." I blushed, but was also a bit confused.
"His? I'm not his." He laughed and shrugged.
"Yeah, and also he's mad at me because I fell in love with one demon named Tyler."
"And?" I looked at him as we sat on the floor. "What's wrong with that?"
"I kinda had a sexual relationship with that demon. Lui saw it as he was hurting me and, well, killed him." He sniffled. "Told me never speak to him again, do I left them for here in case they needed help, they come here."
"Oh.." I said. I leaned my head on his shoulder. I felt something soft wrap around my shoulder, I looked to my left and saw a partial black feathered wing. I snuggled closer and closed my eyes.
"Craig!" The girl called. Craig groaned and got up patting me on the head and hiding his wings, I wish I was like them. I looked down and got up, going upstairs more to the roof. I stood up there, looking out at the cloudy sky and the furious ocean. The waves crashed and moved along the walls of a cliff.
"What're you doing?" Lui came up, standing beside me. "Shouldn't you be with your boyfriend?" My heart sunk.
"Leave me alone." I whispered. He chuckled.
"You don't even have wings yet, how are we gonna get anywhere with you?" I looked at him.
"I SAID, LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!!" I was poking his chest and he was staring at something behind me, "YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A ASS TO ME!" He was wide eyed at the thing behind me. "What!?"
"Wow, all it took was anger I guess." I look behind me, I had white wings, not black like them. I was wide eyed, I looked back at him.
"There, happy? You can go now." I sat down and put my wings on my sides as I curled up with knees to chest. I heard him sit down to and I felt something slightly touch my wings, I twitched. He wrapped his black wing around my white one.
"I don't want to leave you alone." He said, I hummed, not believing him.
"You treat me like I'm not a person. You don't talk to me, you hate me, you yell, and you growl." I sighed. "Am I not good enough?"
"No, No, you're um.." I looked at him, he was blushing and scratching the back of his neck. "Perfect." I slightly smiled.
"Thanks, but it's hard to believe." I look up. "I'm different. I've always and will forever be different. I thought I found my place when I was its you guys, cause I'm an angel, but my wings are white. It's just so hard." There was a long and comfortable silence until I felt something warm wrap around my hand. I of looked down and saw him squeezing my hand. "Lui?" He smashed his lips on mine, my eyes widened. He pulled away and cupped my cheek.
"You maybe different, but different is good. (Y/N), you're the most beautiful creature on earth. If you hadn't gone to that place, I'm sure I would never had met you. I don't hate you, and I never did, I just get over protective of stuff or people I like. I'm sorry, and you don't have to like me back." He got up but I pulled his wrist back down. I kissed the tip of his nose.
"I already do like you, wait no." I pulled his face toward mine then pulled away. "I love you too." Lui wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, also wrapping his wings around mine. We sat there through the night and morning just holding eachother and me sleeping on his chest. He was truly
