(Y/N) sniffled again, rubbing her arm as she walks down stairs. She looks at her boyfriend who was eating a bowl of cereal. She smiled slightly and frowned again, as she walked over and sat beside him. He smiled as she sat down, he pushed her bowl to her and let her eat.
"Mornin' babe." He smiled. She hummed and looked at the bowl. She saw how the pieces of cereal floated with the milk, like her heart.
"I'm sorry, David. I'm not hungry." She pushed it away lightly, he nodded. He grabbed the bowl and poured it down the disposal.
"Got tickets to Canada, finally get to see that Canadian that's been getting you all those game consoles." He laughed at the thought of Evan. (Y/N) let out a fake giggle, she got up and went behind David, pulling her sleeves over her hands and wrapped them around him. He stood up straight and held his hands to hers.
"I love you." She whispered.
"I love you too," he turned in her arms and picked her up. "Something the matter?"
"No." She answered, burying her head in his neck. "Everything's fine." She muffled.

(Y/N) walked to her side of the bed, facing toward the window. David crawled in too, he was facing her back as he watched her stomach rise and fall. He sighed and turned off the light. David closed his eyes and felt his heart ache because of how broken she was. You thought he was dumb? That he wouldn't notice anything was wrong? You're wrong, he did notice. Though, she thought he was asleep, so she let darkness break her even more. She let it attack and pull at her though she let it until she felt it had given out. Once it did, she mentally picked up little pieces of herself and glued it together, even if it was the wrong pieces. She let out a shaky breathe as she closed her eyes tightly and fell asleep.

(Y/N) was dressed rather nice today, though there was no special occasion. Under her pale hands, was a piano David had set up years ago. She pushed one of her cold fingers down and heard the soft note of the key. She inhaled and started to play.

David put down his guitar and hugged his girlfriend. She hugged him back and let her tears fall in him.

"I love you too, David. Please..please don't leave me. I've just been upset ever since my mom-" he cut her off by pressing his lips to hers. She closed her eyes and embraced it. He pulled away and wiped a tear away from her face.
"That.." She looked into his eyes, "is the most absurd reason I've ever heard to leave a girlfriend." She smirks with more tears in her eyes and hugged his waist. He rubbed her back as they sat in his room in silence.
