CHAPTER TWO

We went inside my dad was watching Cops Reloaded. I went upstairs to my room with Heather. "Dude I can't believe you did that at school today you kicked her ass in front of everybody!" I smiled at her "Well something else happened after that." She looked at me "What happen Jasmine?" I smiled at her "Well when I was waiting outside for you Marcus came up to me and I was telling him that I didn't mean to say what I said then he kissed me!" She looked at me "Holy shit he kissed you I can't believe that I missed it so are we still going to his party tonight?" I smiled at her "Yeah I want to talk to him about it but I'm going to go help Ashley get dinner ready you want to go help us Heather?" She smiled

We ran downstairs to the kitchen Ashley was getting everything ready "Hey do you need some help mom?" She smiled at me "Yeah I could use some help from my new daughter." Me and Heather started helping her. My dad came in the kitchen "Wow Jasmine and Heather y'all are helping Ashley out with dinner." I looked at him "She is my mom dad and yeah we are helping." My dad looked at me. He went to sit in the living room to watch the news. Me and the girls finished cooking dinner.

Ashley called my dad to come and eat. We sat down to eat as a family after we got done I helped Ashley wash the dishes. After I got done me and Heather were walking out to go to the party. "Jasmine can you come here really fast I want to talk to you real fast." I went into the living room. "Look I know that your birthday is in a month but I wanted to give you this right now." I looked at him "What do you mean?" He smiled at me "Well close your eyes and I will take you to where your surprise is Jasmine!" I was kind of scared I didn't know what to think about what my dad got me for my birthday I felt my dad pull me to where every we was going "Okay open your eyes Jasmine!"

When I opened my eyes I seen a blue mustang "Omg I can't believe you brought my dream car daddy!" I gave him a hug He gave me a hug. He gave me the keys. Me and Heather took of to Marcus's party. When we pulled up there were a lot of people. Me and Heather went to the dance floor we were dancing when Alex and Marcus came up to us. I was going to sit down when Marcus pulled me to the side "Hey can I talk to you really fast Jasmine." I smiled at him "Yeah lets go outside if you want to." We went out side "Look about what happen early with the kiss should not have not have happen between us I was being stupid I'm sorry." I looked at him "No it's okay Marcus I know how you feel we can forget that it ever happened." I walked off to go to the bathroom. I was coming out when I bumped into someone "Oh I'm so sorry I wasn't looking at where I was going." That guy looked at me "No its okay I'm Chris do you have a name." I looked at him "I'm Jasmine it's nice to meet you Chris."

I went downstairs Heather came up to me "Hey I seen you talking to that cute guy what happen?" I looked at her "Well I bumped into him and his name is Chris and I told him my name that was it." She smiled at me. I went up to Marcus "Look I'm going home thanks for inviting me I will see you around." I went up to Heather "I'm leaving I'm going to call it a night you have a ride home right?" She smiled at me "Yeah my mom is coming to get me." I gave her a hug I was walking to my car "Hey Jasmine!"

I turned around to see who it was Chris came up to me "Oh hey what's sup Chris." He smiled at me "Aye do you can give me a ride I can give you gas money?" I looked at him "Yeah I can give you a ride!" He got in the car we took off form Marcus's house Chris told me where to go. I pulled up to this big house "Wow this is where you live at?" He smiled at me "Yeah thanks for giving me a ride Jasmine."

I smiled "Yeah no problem Chris I see you around." He went inside I pulled up to my house. When I walked in it was so dark in there I was going upstairs when I heard something coming from my bedroom I pulled out my pepper spray I was walking so slow to my bedroom door. I pushed it open and I seen someone standing there. I turned on the light "Holy shit you scared the life out of me Heather what are you doing here?" She smiled at me "Well I left right after you left I went home and my mom had some guy there we got into this big fight and she kicked me out can I stay with you." I smiled at her "Yes you can stay with me Heather you know your like a sister to me so lets get you set up." I went to the guest room and fix the bed for Heather "Okay sister see you in the morning okay."

I went downstairs to get me something to drink when I turned around to go back upstairs my dad was standing there "Oh hi daddy what are you still doing up?" He smiled at me "Well I heard all the noise I was checking on it." I smiled at him "Well it was Heather her mom kicked her out so she wanted to know if she could stay here I gave her the guest bedroom." He smile at me "Okay Jasmine its okay."
