CHAPTER FOURTEEN

I waited up for my mom and dad to come back from the hospital. I went up to their room I seen all the blood on the bed I wonder if Ashley had a miscarriage. I was so scared I was crying so hard that I didn't even hear my phone. When I looked at the message that my dad sent me {The doctor said that she had a miscarriage her white blood cells are too low they are going to keep her over night see you in the morning love you baby girl} After I read that I just fell apart I started crying so hard that I walked to the park at 3:00 in the morning. I was sitting on the basketball court when I heard someone coming "Jazzy what are you doing out here all alone its late." I looked up to find Marcus standing there I ran into his arms "Ashley lost the baby they are at the hospital right now they are going to keep her over night I just don't know what to do right now I need fresh air." I could feel his arms wrapped around he was holding me "I know what happen your dad texted me he asked if I could stay with you and Heather for the night." I looked at him I was still crying "Look you need to get some sleep let's go back to the house." He wiped my eyes as we walked to his car. For some reason I was falling for Marcus.

We got back to the house Alex and Heather were in the living room I ran over to Heather and started crying again. She took me upstairs into my room I laid down and closed my eyes. I heard the door open and close I got up and went downstairs. My dad and mom came in I ran over to Ashley and gave her a huge hug I didn't let go of her "It's okay baby girl that was a sign from God telling us that it's just not the right time for a baby right now." I looked at Ashley she wiped my eyes "I'm so sorry I wish I was there for you mom." She gave me a hug "Jazzy you are here for me right now." I gave her a hug.

She went upstairs "I'm going to go take a nap can you wake me up at 1:00 so that way we can get everything ready for tonight?" I smiled at her "Okay mom I will wake you up." I went downstairs with my dad and Heather. They boys were in the living room I went over to my dad and gave him a hug."Can I talk to you in my office Jasmine." We went into his office "Daddy it's okay to cry I did and if you have to then let it out." He started crying I went over to him and gave him a hug "Why did this have to happen to us baby girl?" I looked at him "I don't know daddy but maybe mom maybe it's a sign from God telling us that it's not the time." He was still crying when Ashley walked in "See baby why couldn't you cry to me?" My dad looked at her "I'm sorry baby girl I just didn't want you to see me like this." I grabbed my mom "Dad it's okay y'all are getting married when you say those vowels then they mean something so what if you cry." He grabbed both of us and held us tight to him. I left them alone in the office. I went to grab my phone I seen that I had a message from Chris {Hey baby text me when you wake up or when you get a chance} I couldn't help but smile as I texted Chris back.

{Hey had a rough night but you still coming to the dinner right?} I went to jump in the shower. I put on my Iron Maiden shirt with my black ripped skinny jeans. I put my black high tops on I looked at my phone {Yeah baby girl I'm still coming you want to go hang out at the park?} I smiled at the message {Yes baby I will met you there bring the basketball!} I went downstairs "Hey boys do y'all want to go play basketball with me and Chris?" Everyone got up "Hell yeah lets do boys against girls." Alex said "How there are three boys and two girls?" They looked at me "Okay we play two on two winner has to trade people." I smiled at him "Okay big brother." We started walking to the park "Hey was your dad okay Jazzy?" Heather asked me I smiled at her "No he broke down I felt so bad for him I have never seen my dad cry before." We walked up to the basketball court where Chris was waiting on me 

"I brought them I hope you don't mind Chris." he smiled at me "No so we gonna play two on two?" I looked at Heather "Oh yeah it's game time me and Jazzy against Alex and Chris." I smiled at her we started playing basketball. We won the game but I heard my phone ringing I ran over to it Ashley told me to come home because we were going shopping for a new dress so I could wear to the dinner. 

I grabbed Heather "I'm sorry Chris beauty calls I will see you tonight." I blew him a kiss Marcus and Alex stayed with him "Where are we going  Jazzy?" Heather asked me as I dragged her along "We are going shopping for tonight!" She smiled at me "Yay let's go shopping with mom I can't wait for that."
