CHAPTER THIRTEEN

(INTRO:)

My name is Ashley I'm 25 years old I live with my wonderful boyfriend Zach and my amazing daughter Jasmine. I just found out that I'm pregnant and Zach just asked me to marry him. My life seems to be fine but the truth is that I have a dark past that no one knows about. I use to be engaged to David before I meet Zach but when I was with David he use to beat me and treat me like a slave instead of his soon to be wife. When I first meet Zach he made me feel like I was the most special girl in the world. I left David when he was gone away on a trip but he was really messing around on me. I moved in with Zach and meet his wonderful daughter. I never told anyone about me and David. When Jasmine brought Chris over I knew that my secret was going to come out because Chris is David's son who I use to babysit for. I'm so scared that he is going to tell my secret to Zach then we will really be over. I hope that he keeps his mouth shut

I helped Jasmine clean off all the blood I can't believe that she stuck up for me against her own mother but I know what happen and why Jazzy hates her so much. I got done cleaning her cloths. She went downstairs to go talk to Chris. Zach came over to me "Look I hope you know that I know about you and David." I looked at him "How did you know about that Zach?" He smiled at me "I would follow you baby girl." I smiled at him "oh really Zach you would follow me?" He smiled at me "Do you really thing that we would be in the same place at the same time baby?" I looked at him "Well that's true honey but why follow me?" I asked him he looked at me "I know how he treated you and no woman should get treated like that." I smiled at him then I gave him a kiss "Well I hope you know that Chris is David's son." He looked at me "Yeah I know all about him but if he breaks my daughter heat I will break his fucking neck." I looked at him "Baby you Jasmine has to make her own mistakes and learn from them you can't always fight her battles for her." He looked at me "Yeah but how do you know that she can handle herself out there babe?" I smiled at him then wrapped my arms around him "Because she was resided by you and i know you thought her right honey so are you ready to meet my family?" I asked him "Yeah babe I'm ready to meet them and I'm ready to marry you too baby girl."

I went to take a shower before going to bed because I had a big day ahead for me. After I got out of the shower I went to go lay down. Zach came and laid next to me. We feel asleep I woke up with a sharp pain in my stomach. I sat up moaning in pain. Zach woke up "Baby what's wrong?" I looked at him
"I don't know but it hurts really bad and it feels like something is coming out babe can you turn on the light." he got up and turned on the light. I looked down and saw a lot of blood I started crying "OH shit baby we need to get you to a hospital." Zach grabbed me some new cloths I put them on we were going to the car when Jasmine came downstairs "Daddy what's going on?" Zach looked at her "Ashley is bleeding I'm taking her to the hospital I will call you from there to tell you what happen." We left.
