CHAPTER TEN

We step outside into the backyard I went over to my swing that I had as a little girl "Look I didn't know that your dad wanted you to take over Jasmine." I looked at him "No don't worry about it Marcus you are going to be in charge I talked to my dad that's not the life for me I have different plans for me so good luck." He looked at me "What do you want to with your life if you don't mind me asking?" I looked down at the ground "No you are going to laugh at me." He grabbed my hand "I would never laugh at you Jasmine your my friend and I will support you no matter what you choose." I smiled at him "Well I want to help animals like take care of them and help them I know that it's stupid but that is my dream." Marcus looked at me "I don't think its stupid Jazzy I think you should follow your dreams and don't ever let anyone tell you different if they do just come and tell me I will go handle it."

I smiled at him "Thank you for helping me figure out what I wanted to do with my life I hope you can be as good as my dad Marcus." I gave him a hug before I went inside. My dad was in the living room "Was she okay dad?" He looked at me "No she just told me that she is pregnant." I looked at him "Wow she is going to have a baby." He looked at me "You knew huh Jazzy?" I smiled at him "Yeah but I promised mom that I would let her tell you daddy I'm sorry." He smiled at me "Well thank you for not telling me I can't believe I'm going to have a baby!"I smiled at him "I know I can't believe that I'm going to be a big sister!" He gave me a hug "Were is mom at dad?" He smiled at me "She is upstairs laying down she should be coming down any minute." Ashley came downstairs. I smiled at her

"I can't believe you told him mom what did he do?" She smiled at me "Well when you left I told him that I found out that I was pregnant and he just looked at me." I smiled at her "Wow so are still putting that dinner on for tomorrow I would love to meet your family mom." She gave me a hug "Yes we are still going to have that dinner why don't you bring your friend Chris tomorrow." I looked at her "Yeah I will have to ask my dad to see if it's okay if he can come." I went over to my dad "Can I talk to you really fast?" He smiled at me "Do you think I can bring a friend to the dinner tomorrow?" My dad looked at me "Who this friend Jazzy?" I smiled at him "His name is Chris and he is the most sweetest guy daddy?" He looked at me "Sure he can come I would like to meet this guy and see what he is like." I gave him a big hug "Oh thank you daddy I love you so much." I gave him a kiss on the check.

I went to the kitchen with Ashley and Heather "Dad said that Chris could come to the dinner I really like this guy I hope dad doesn't do anything stupid." Ashley looked at me "I know how you feel so I will talk to your dad tonight I was that age at one point so I know what you are going through Jazzy." I gave her a hug "Thank you so much mom." She called all her family members and told them to meet us here for a dinner. I smiled at her "So are you going to tell them the big news about the baby?" She smiled at me "I was hoping that you and Heather could help me do a big sign about the wedding and the baby?" I looked at Heather she smiled at me "Yeah we would love to help you mom." Heather told Ashley. The boys came into the kitchen "Y'all want to watch a scary movie tonight guys." I looked at my dad "Sure let's make some popcorn and can we go get some ice cream?" My dad smiled at me

I looked at Marcus "Can you take me to the store Marcus?" He looked at me dad "Yeah let's go really fast." We got into the car and took off to the store "Can I ask you something Jazzy?" I looked at him "Yeah go head Marcus." I looked at him "I know that I shouldn't tell this but that guy Chris works for a guy name David who is at war with you dad." I looked at him "Are you sure Marcus because he never told me that?" He smiled at me "Yes I'm sure that's the guy we have so many problems with Chris but that's total up to you Jazzy." I looked at him I couldn't believe that Chris wouldn't tell that about him

We pulled up to United I got out of the car with Marcus we walked around the store looking for the ice cream. Marcus got the ice cream while I got the cones I was walking to go meet up with Marcus "Jasmine is that you?" I turned around to see who was calling me it was Chris I was still kind of mad at him I started walking towards the front of the store. He ran up to me "Are you okay did I do something wrong Jasmine?" I looked at him "Yeah you didn't tell me that you work for the guy that my dad is in war with right now I can't believe that you wouldn't tell me." He looked down at the floor "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about that but I knew that you would be mad at me because I'm a drug dealer."
