Chapter Nine

Me and Heather left back to the house I forgot about going with my dad to go pick out the ring for Ashley. When I got there my dad was waiting for me "We need to hurry we only have an hour she went out to eat with her sister." I looked at my dad "Can Heather come I'm going to need her help to get this done daddy?" He smiled at me "Yeah but let's go you can tell her what we are planning to do on the way to the mall." We all got into my dad's truck. We were on the way to the mall "Okay Heather we are going to go get all the things we need so we can help my dad asked Ashley to marry him." 

We pulled up to the mall we helped my dad pick out the ring than we grabbed all the stuff that we needed for the sign that I was going to make. Heather grabbed the streamers for the house. We also grabbed some candles. My dad rushed home we  put everything together. I put the sign up than we light the candles. I seen Ashley pull up "Okay guys here she comes! "

My dad stood under the sign with the ring.  Ashley walked into the house. She was surprised I could see it in her face. She started crying as she walked over to my dad. I was crying too because it was so beautiful. My dad came over to me "Why are you crying Jasmine?" I smiled at him "Because I'm so proud of you daddy." He gave me a hug I went over to Ashley "Welcome the family mom." She gave me  a hug "How are we going to tell your dad about the baby?" I smiled at her "Don't worry I planned everything for tomorrow." She smiled at me "Okay well I'm going to go make dinner for us do you want to help me?" I smiled at her. We went into the kitchen "I can't believe that you are getting married to my dad!" Ashley smiled "I know would you and Heather like to  be my bridesmaid?" 

Me and Heather looked at her "We would love to be in your wedding." She gave us a hug "Okay tomorrow we will go look at dress and then oh wait I have to make a dinner plan so y'all can meet my family." I looked at her "Well I will help you set that up." We finished dinner I went to go get my dad. I walked into his office to find Marcus and Alex sitting there "Oh I'am sorry I was just going to tell you that dinner is ready I will come back." I turned around "No baby girl you can join us and besides I was just about to tell the boys that you are going to be the future boss." The both looked at me "Wait what I thought I was going to take over when you got out the game sir?" I looked at my dad "Really dad I can't believe you." I walked out of his off I can't believe that Marcus was going to take over my dad's drug business I went into the kitchen with the girls. The boys walked into the kitchen I was so mad 

"Jasmine can I talk to you really fast?" I looked at my dad "Sure, you can talk to me dad." We went into his office "Look I should have told you about Marcus taking over when I got out but I wanted you to see what it was like to have this feeling." I looked at him "No its okay but you should let Marcus take over dad I don't want to be in charge." He looked at me "Really Jasmine you don't want to be in charge?" I looked at my dad "No I have my own dream I want to help animals daddy I hope you are not mad at me." He gave me a hug "Baby girl I'm not mad at you baby I'm really proud that you want to help animals." We walked outside to go join the family in the kitchen I sat down beside my dad.

I looked at Ashley she didn't look so good "Hey mom let's go upstairs to go lay down." I took her to her room. She ran to the restroom. She was throwing up my dad came into the room "What's going on is she okay Jasmine." I smiled at him "I don't know why don't you go check on her I don't want to go see that I will wait for you downstairs." I left downstairs with Heather and Alex. "Hey Jasmine can I talk to you really fast." I looked at Marcus "Yeah we can go out to the backyard if you don't mind."
