CHAPTER SIXTEEN

I couldn't believe that my dad put me with Chris but if that's what he want's then I will do it. I went over to mom "So did you like that dress that we picked out for the bridesmaid dress?" I asked mom she smiled at me "Yes I really liked it Jasmine but I was wonder how are we going to do everything." I smiled at her "Well I will help I love doing stuff like this." I told her "Okay we let's go get ready for the dinner party I'm almost done with all the food." I smiled at her "Okay but will you help me do my hair?" She smiled at me "Yes I will help you with your hair Jazzy!" We went upstairs I put on my short red dress and my red heels. "Wow Jazzy you look beautiful." Heather told me I smiled at her "Thank you sister so do you." Ashley did my hair and she did my make up. I looked at my self Ashley curled my hair then she put a bun in it. "Oh thank you so much mom." I gave her a hug we went downstairs.

The boys all turned around and looked at us "Wow Jasmine I have never seen you in a dress you look so beautiful baby girl." I gave my dad a hug "Thanks mom did my hair and my makeup." I smiled at her I went to the living room to watch my animal show. Chris came up to me "Dang babe you look so good in that dress." I smiled at him "Thanks babe." He gave me a kiss "So why are you watching this baby?" I smiled at him "Well I'm going to go to school to help animals its been my dream ever since I was a little girl." He smiled at me "Wow you have everything mapped out huh?" I smiled at him "Yeah I have to go on Monday to the place that I will be working to see if I get the job." I told Chris with a smile. "Jasmine can you come here for a minute?" I got up and went into my dad's office and sat down. "Well I got a call from that school that you want to go to and they told me that you can just start working what do you think baby girl your dreams are coming true I'm so proud of you Jazzy."

I smiled at him "Are you for real but I still have to go to the Houston ASPCA and see if I got the job daddy so my dreams are still on hold." He smiled at me "Well about that I called them I know the man that works there." I looked at him " He told me that they are looking for someone to help take care of the animals he said be there at 8:00 in the morning and you will start right away ." I looked at him "Oh thank you dad this means so much to me I love you so much thanks for helping me follow my dream!" I gave him a hug and a kiss we heard people coming into the house "Okay let's go meet Ashley's family hopefully everything goes good." I smiled at my dad "It will daddy I promise." We went to the kitchen. Everyone turned to look at me I didn't know what to do but smile and sit down in the chair.

"You must be Jasmine, Ashley has told me a lot about you, your so beautiful I'm Ashley's mom." She gave me a hug "Well thank you and it's so nice to meet you ma'." She started laughing "You can call Dora." I smiled at her "Well Dora it's so nice to meet you." She grabbed me by my hand and took me around to meet everyone. I looked over at Ashley and my dad they seem so happy. I went up to my room I couldn't do the whole dress thing. I put on my Dokken shirt and my black sweats with my boots. I went back downstairs. My dad looked at me "Why did you change?" I looked at my dad

"I couldn't do the dress daddy." He smiled at me "Well that's okay honey go sit down so we can eat." went to sit down I couldn't see Chris anywhere I looked around "Marcus have you seen Chris?" He looked at me "No I haven't seen him Jazzy I'm sorry." I got up from the table I was going to the restroom when I heard something coming from the guestroom I went to open the door to find Chris with some girl. They were having sex Chris looked at me then quickly got off of her I just walked away from them. I went outside to the back yard. Chris came outside "Jasmine I'm sorry that you seen that." I turned around and slapped him "We are done so you need to leave before I get my dad."

He looked at me "Baby I'm sorry please don't do this I didn't mean for this to happen." I walked away from him "Just leave I don't want to be with you anymore Chris." He looked at me "Please I'm sorry baby girl please don't this!" I looked at him "Just leave I need to be alone right now I don't want to see you ever again Chris." He looked at me "Please I didn't mean it I was just a thing baby girl I want to be with you." I turned and walked back inside "Sorry guys I don't feel good I'm going to go lay down it was nice meeting all of you." I went upstairs to my room I closed the door and laid down

I couldn't believe that Chris would do something like that then tell me that it was just a thing. Heather came into the room "Jasmine what's wrong with you?" I looked at her "I just walked in on Chris having sex with a girl in the guest room." She looked at me "Are you for real what did he say?" I looked at her "He told me that it was just a thing and that he wanted to be with me." she looked at me "That's bullshit why would he have done that." I smiled at her "Yeah so I broke up with him." She gave me a hug "That's good you will find the right guy sister I promise he will come." She left downstairs.
