Sleepover

As soon as Matt came back we sat as far as we could from each other and there was just this awkwardness in the air.
"Why are you guys acting so weird?"
"We're not Matty. I think that it's just been a long day and we're tired."
I wasn't about to tell him that I just really wanted to kiss his best friend.
"She's right Matt we're just tired"
"You staying Ryder?"
I kind of wanted him to stay but at the same time I didn't because it would be like having temptation right beside me. But then again I did want to see him and maybe if we're really careful...
"Uhhhhh...."
He looked at me for approval and I nodded and he gave me a sly grin.
"Yeah I'll stay"
" Took you long enough to answer"
"But go bring your XBOX or else "
"Yeah, yeah but I need you to help me bring the games and remotes"
"No I don't want to go take Jamie with you"
That's great I'll go and if I get lucky I get to kiss him some more. Wait but I have to pretend like I don't want to cause it'll look too suspicious if I don't.
"But I don't want to go..."
"Oh come on sis I'll even let you play first"
"Well in that case Ok"
Good I get to be alone for a couple of minutes with Ryder and I get to play first. Double whammy.
"Alright come on Babe"
God I loved that he calls me babe even more now that he is actually my boyfriend.
We walked over to his house and went into the living room where his mom was
"Hey mom I just came to get my Xbox cause I'm staying at Matt's "
"Ok have fun but come give your mother a kiss and a hug"
"Mom.."
"What do you not want Jamie to see you giving your mother some love. You don't mind right Jamie?"
"Of course not"
It was so funny seeing him like this cause he looked so embarrassed but honestly it was cute that he really loved his mom.
"I'm going to get my Xbox now"
"Alright honey"
We went upstairs and before Ryder could get a word out I kissed him. He was surprised but kissed me back and we ended up on his bed. We stopped kissing because things were getting a little too intense and we actually had something to do.
"Alright let's actually get everything before your brother gets suspicious"
"Yeah hopefully we haven't been here too long"
"Nah it's only been like 10 min"
"Alright let's go"
"Wait I forgot something"
"What?"
"This"
He leaned down and kissed me one last time before we left and I was glad because we weren't going to have another chance to be alone for a while.
After we got everything we needed we said goodbye to Ryder's mom and headed back home.
"What took you so long?"
"Oh .... We couldn't find one of the cables and it took us a while to find it"
"Oh alright well let's go set it up"
"Ok cool"
We spent the rest of the month like this. We saw each other every moment we could and we definitely still kept hiding from Matt. We were really happy but school was going to start soon and keeping this a secret was going to be much harder. Plus, we were probably going to have the same classes cuz of our last names and me skipping a grade. I was going to hate seeing him all day without being able to just be his girlfriend instead of acting like I was just his best friends little sister. The worst part was that girls were going to be throwing themselves at him and there was nothing I was going to be able to do about it. I wasn't going to be able to show him any affection or demonstrate that I was his girlfriend because if anybody saw anything it would be the end of our relationship and also Matt would freak out. I am just hoping that things are better than they seem and I am  hoping we can be together without looking like we are together. All I can do is wait and see what is actually going to happen.
