Chapter 5

Thomas' PoV

"Now if you hand your selfs in then we'll just forget about everything that's happened," Ratman said while stopping and putting his hands up about 3 meters away from us.

Me, Minho and Newt just stand there for a few seconds trying to figure out how to escape and not have to go with them. When suddenly I see Minho bring out a gun from his back pocket.
Without hesitation he quickly shoots Ratman with the gun.

Suddenly he runs towards the guard, as the guard tries to shoot him.
He manages to dodge all of the shots apart from one that hits him right in the shoulder. As he collapses to the ground in pain I see Newt run to the guard and tackle him down on to the floor.
The guards drops his gun in surprise. Newt quickly grabs his gun and in one quick movement he shoots the guard right in the head.

I quickly run over to Minho who was lying on the floor with a pool of blood around his shoulder.

"Did we kill him shuck face?" He whispers as Newt comes over.

"Yeah Newt killed the last guard," I say while I rip a strip of my t-shirt.
Me and Newt then carefully wrap it around Minho's shoulder.

"We have to go, Ratman isn't dead," Minho says while me and Newt get under Minho's arms and lift him up, trying to be careful with his shot shoulder.

"What do you mean?" I ask, "we saw you kill him."

"The gun that I had stolen off the guard only had tranquilliser darts in it, I didn't know that until I went to shoot him," Minho explains.

"How long do you think we have then?" I ask, not wanting to go up against Ratman one more time.

"I don't know shuck face," Minho says sassily, "maybe about 2 or 3 hours."

"Wait," I say remembering the gun that Newt used to kill the guard, "couldn't we just kill him with the gun you used to kill the guard Newt?" I ask, hopeful that I'm right.

Newt just shakes his head, "We can't, I checked how much ammo it had left and there was none," he explains.

"Come on guys, we need to get out of here now!" Minho urges.

"Ok Newt can you go and get that key card that the guard has?" I ask Newt as he un hooks Minho's arm from his neck and goes to get the card.
Once he's got it he quickly swipes it and the door opens into the outside world.

Newt quickly comes back and hooks Minho's arm around his neck again and we all walk forward.

"So... anyone go any idea where to go or what to do?" Asks Minho.

"Yeah," I say suddenly surprising myself, "we go to Beacon Hills."
