Chapter 6

Newt's PoV

"Where?" I ask not knowing what to say.

"To Beacon Hills, we have to go to Beacon Hills," he says again.

"Where the hell is that shuck face?" Minho asks obviously just as confused as me.

"That way... I think," Thomas says pointing towards the hills.

"And how do you know where this place is?" I ask while he just shrugs.
"Well how are we meant to get there?" I ask, "we can't walk because Minho's arm is really bad, we need to get him medical attention!"

"We don't need to walk," Minho says as if he's stating the obvious, "We just take that jeep." He explains while nodding towards a jeep just sitting there.
As we walk over to the jeep I help Thomas get Minho into the back.
After that Thomas goes into the back with Minho and I go into the front where the drivers wheel is.

I look to where the keys should be and they are just sitting there.
I quickly turn the keys and I here the engine start.

"Do you actually know how to drive?" Minho grunts as he lies down trying not to hit his bad shoulder.

"No," I reply calmly.

"Wait what!" Thomas shouts, starting to panic, "how do we know that you aren't going to crash!"

"Just trust me," I reply not really knowing what to do but if it means getting us out of WICKED's reach then so be it!

I could hear Thomas gulp in suspense as I start to move the car slowly. Soon I'm getting faster and faster, and getting more used to driving.
I think that some part of me must have remembered how to do it.

"See I told you I could do it," I say with a smug look on my face, I look back at Thomas and Minho and realise that Minho's now fast asleep and Thomas is now more relaxed, "now where are we going?"

"Just keep driving," I hear Thomas say in the back, "I'll tell you where to go after you get to those forest." He says while leaning forwards and pointing to the forest that's about 10 miles in front of us.

I hope you enjoyed that chapter! I'm sorry that it was so short but the next one should be longer and should hopefully have more things happening in it!😂
