(Ruthie's POV)

"Eww...hey you two break it up, or at least get a room," I said when I walked downstairs

and saw Michael laying on top of Remy on the couch making out.

"A room sound like a good idea," Michael teased.

"Second though just break it up," I replied.

"Oh, comes on break it up guys or I'm going to get the hose," Christian remarked seeing Michael and Remy on the couch in the same position.

They laughed and sat up, "So what are we doing today?" Michael asked.

"I don't know what do you guys want to do?" I inquired sitting between Remy and my brother.

"Hey Pix, where you get this, I don't remember you have a necklace like this." Michael question admiring the necklace Christian gave me last night.

"Oh I got in when I was in England," I lied easily, which is new.

"There's a bon fire down at the lake tonight, want to go?" Michael suggested.

"Sound good to me," I replied looking to Christian and Remy who agreed.

"So judging by that necklace, things are going good with Christian," Remy teased as we were getting ready for the lake bonfire.

"Yeah, judging by you and Michael display this morning, thing going good with you two," I joked back.

"Yeah," She simply said.

"Hey Remy," I called.

"Yeah Rose," she replied.

"You happy?" I asked.

"Yeah very happy, you happy?" she retorted.

"Very happy," I smiled.

"You look great girls," Christian commented as Remy and I hopped down stairs me in white shorts and a plain strapless top, while Remy was dressed in a jean skirt and blue and white stripe spaghetti strap top. "You look beautiful baby girl," He then whispered to me once Michael was out of earshot, as I smiled.

Down at the lake was beautiful, ten stacks of wood surrounded the outline of the lake being lit just as we got there, there were many people milling about talking and hanging out, some had brought picnic baskets, blankets and chairs, all type of music blended together from people who brought radios. I walked around arm and arm with Remy most the night and caught up with people I haven't seem since I left for England.

"Hey Babe," Michael said sing his arm around Remy once we finally met up with them again.

"Hey," she replied kissing his cheek.

"I'm going to go the truck, I forgot my wallet," Christian announced.

"I'll go with you, I need my lip gloss out of my purse anyways," I told them and hurried after Christian.

Once we reach the truck and he turned to face me, I placed my hands on his abs and lightly pushed him against the truck kissing him. Without breaking the kiss he placed his hand on my waist turning me around to where my back was pressed against the truck. "Don't you have to get your wallet?" I whispered out of breath as he pulled away placing his forehead to mine. He smiled reached behind him and pulled out his wallet.

"Your lip-gloss?" he inquired, and I pulled in out from my back pocket. He smiled again and pressed his lips to mine when a flash went off.

"Well, isn't it little Ruthie and her brother's best friend, I'm sure Michael is thrilled? Or at least I'm sure he will be when he finds out." Jace slurred evilly with and equally drunken Katie attached to his arm holding out a phone snapping another picture.

"Hey, Jace right?" Christian asked. "You and your girl seem a little drunk, so why don't you let me call a cab and get you both home safely."

"No, we're here for the party," Jace protested. "You know when I first saw you with her at the fountain; I didn't register you as Michael's best friend. And judging by the way he threaten anyone who just glanced at his sister, I didn't think he approve of his best friend dating her."

"What will it take for you to keep your mouth shut?" I asked him. "And those pictures deleted?"

"You," he said. "I want you."
