***Leandra's POV***

Legolas and I rode up Ravenhill. Thorin, Fili, Kili, Tauriel and Dwalin came with us on mounts of their own. "Fili, Kili, Tauriel and Dwalin, go after Bolg, kill every orc you see. Legolas and Thorin, you're with me, most of the orcs are down on the field, so we have an advantage here," I ordered and drew my sword.

"I swear if any of you split up, I'm kicking your asses. Got it?" I warned and we set out.

I took the lead, sword in both hands. "Leandra, how did you defeat the dragon?" Thorin asked.

"I sang for him, then...well, I knew his weakness, then I killed him with it. I lit the forges and put him out with water, then I tricked him down into the mine shaft, I jumped down after him, using the black arrow as a lance and stabbed him in the chest. After that I just held on and kept twisting the arrow. It was fun, why?" I shrugged and moved around a corner, meeting a couple of orcs who were soon dispatched.

"Where will you go after the battle? Will you stay?" Thorin asked.

More orcs came as we came to the frozen lake. "Is now really the time!?" Legolas asked. I jumped down to the ice and charged at the nearest orc.

"I may never get another time!" they followed me and I saw Azog storming down to meet us.

I growled and charged for Azog. I slid on the ice between his legs. He swung his chained rock at me and I dodged him. I blocked his blade and kept dodging the chain mace.

***3rd POV***

Leandra kept dodging, Thorin and Legolas ended up working together. Thorin looked to see Leandra and Azog...balancing out a broken piece of ice.

Leandra screamed and threw his stone chain mace back at him, hitting him in the chest and she leapt on to the Pale Orc, stabbing him in the chest...they both went under the ice.

"NO!" Thorin shouted, Legolas dispatched the last orc.

They ran over to the broken ice, only seeing black blood come up...then Azog's severed head floated up. "She did it," Legolas said in horror.

Thorin fell to his knees. "She did..." He muttered.

Legolas heard a pounding sound. He looked behind them to see Leandra...under the ice, trying to fight her way out. "Oakenshield, help me break through!" Legolas shouted.

***

Leandra sat on a stone, shivering and giggling at the same time. "You're the most reckless girl I have ever met," Thorin growled.

"H-eheh...y-you were w-worried about me...I-I'll be f-fine. I'm-" Thorin took off his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders.

"Magic...I know," Thorin smiled.

Legolas had gone and was was checking on the others. "Will you stay...?" Thorin asked, sitting next to her.

She sighed and ran a hand through her damp hair. "You know I can't do that, Thorin...if I was mortal, yes...but I'm not...and besides..." she smiled and kissed his temple.

"You'll always be my King," she said with a said smile, cupping his cheek.

"Then, it is goodbye?" he asked with a heavy heart.

"I'm afraid so," Leandra wished in that moment that she would've stayed human...he kissed her again. With a kind of sad happiness.

She smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck. He chuckled in between kisses, his hands going around her waist.

It was sweet sorrow for them to have love...but that it couldn't be...even if they hadn't stated that love. Peace was nice.

***

They sat there and watched the eagles fly over. Leandra pulled a packet of pipe weed from her pocket. "Here, I was going to give you this back in the Shire as a peace offering, it's Hobbiton grown. You wanna smoke it with me?" Leandra chuckled.

Thorin smiled, pulling a couple of pipes from his own pocket. "I'd love to," he laughed.

***

Legolas returned with the others to find Leandra coughing, Thorin laughing at her. She smacked Thorin's arm. "Hey! I've never smoked!" She laughed and Legolas couldn't help but to smile.

He cared for her already...
