***Leandra's POV***
I didn't want to go through Moria, but when we tried going over the mountain, Legolas tried to protect me from the falling rocks. He was struck in the shoulder and the back of his head, being knocked out cold.
I hoisted him over my shoulders like a fireman and hurried down the mountain to the wall of Moria. I paid him down and checked his mouth. "Aragorn! Bring my medical supplies! He's bleeding and I have to decompress his lungs! Hurry!" I shouted and started chest compressions.
Aragorn brought my bag and I opened Legolas' coat and cut his tunic open. "What are you doing?! Just heal him!" Aragorn asked.
"You can't heal lungs full of water, that has to come out! Give me the bottle of Athelas paste." I took a small, thin metal spike, no thicker than a sharpie marker.
"Alright, one, two, three!" I stuck the spike into his chest between the third and second ribs, decompressing the lungs and causing him to turn his head, coughing up the water towards the lake. I pulled out the spike and held a cloth over the small opening.
"Tanka harwar." (heal) I said as he coughed, focusing on his lungs.
He gasped in air and laid on his back, breathing hard. "How did you know to stab him?" Aragorn asked.
"I'm magic like that." I chuckled quietly and used telekinesis to repair his tunic after I took it off of him.
I helped Legolas sit up and he took a deep breath before nodding. "You saved me..." He mumbled. "Again." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.
"You saved me first, now turn around so I can see the damage. This won't take long." I smiled and he nodded wearily. He was actually tired.
I examined the long gash on his back and grimaced. "You shouldn't have protected me like that." I said quietly, Aragorn left to inform the others that he would be alright.
"And let you suffer my fate? Never." He said seriously and I blushed slightly as I healed him.
"You're still an idiot." I huffed, his back was healed. Though he was skinny, he was cut in muscle. His back muscles were impressive and his chest was hard to not stare at. His skin was perfect like pale marble.
I helped him get his tunic on, now that it was clean and repaired. His coat as well. I stood in front of him, buttoning up the green coat, when I got up to the last one I noticed his smile.
"What are you so happy about?" I asked sheepishly with a slight glare and finished the button, he took my hands gently and kissed my knuckles.
"It's been a long time since I've had someone worry over me like you do, my Lady. Thank you." He said softly and I blushed a bit darker, stepping away from him and picking up my bag.
I hurried to the illuminated door. "Mellon!" I called and they opened.
"I don't fear the death in Moria." I growled and turned around to the lake, making a ball of blue fire in each hand. "Everyone inside, now! We're not alone here!" I ordered and watched them run in, a tentacle came creeping out of the lake.
I shouted and threw my fire, setting the surface of the lake ablaze. It would hold the beast long enough to get everyone to safety...if Moria could be called that.
I ran in and tried to make the doors, but the giant tentacle monster still tore down the doors...we were trapped.
I'll never forget the sounds of Gimli's grief stricken howl...
