Where did my twin go?

Amusement park? that must have taken a lot of thinking.

" Oh wow, Sam. Amusement park, that must have taken a lot of thinking " Sofie said, once she saw the banner of the park, Sam let out a tiny chuckle from the driver's seat. I was sitting next to her while sofie and max were at the back

"I claim credit for this idea, and as cliché as it seems, trust me, you girls will appreciate my -completely not as cliché as it seems- idea later" Max said and sam drove her way through the entrance of the outside gate of the park, into the road leading to it

Once we were at the entrance of the park i noticed the chains on the gate, and also the fact that none of the rides were working, i looked at sam expecting to see the same disappointed expression sofie and i had, but i noticed her unbuckling her seatbelt with a very excited expression on. Puzzled, i looked back at max and he mirrored her same expression

" Uh, im not sure if you guys just consider long car rides as a date or are in denial that your plan is not going to work, and trust me, i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but guys, the park is obviously closed" Sofie said in a confused yet sympathetic tone placing her hand on max's almost bouncing with excitement shoulder

" Oh trust me Sofie, we freaking know" Max said with that wide adorable grin of his and shared the grin with Sam. As puzzled as we were, sofie and i remained in our seats while sam and max were already out of the car waiting at our doors to get out

" Oookay...?" I trailed off taking Sam's extended hand and getting out of the car, while sofie behind me was doing the same

Once we were all out of the car and it was locked, Sam and Max shared a look, then nodded at the same freaking time, took our hands in theirs and started charging for the gate. It took sofie and i a second to adapt to the sudden movement but before we knew it, we were all running to a gate that had a shit load of chains on it

Gotta love double dates with mischievous siblings -or almost siblings, or best friends or whatever, yeah.

When we were almost at the gate, a guard out of no where popped their head out of a window of a tiny shed right next to the gate

" Hey, kids, park is closed, shoo, no rides today, go back home" the guard yelled out at us while shoving a slice of pizza up his mouth. Yeah. The whole slice.

" Ayeee papi, this just got a 100 times more fun" Max said, and we all knew what this meant. We all shared a smile then took off running in different directions toward the gate, Max and Sam started climbing their way up on the opposite ends of the gate while Sofie and I were monkey-ing our way up the middle

We climbed down the opposite side and glanced back at the security guard who was getting out of the door throwing profanities at us. The four of us took off running into the park anyway, till we were too deep for him to catch.

" Sweet strawberry shortcake, even cheerleading practice is not that tiring" Sofie heaved as she was bent over trying to catch her breath

" im going to try my very best to ignore the fact that you just cursed in dessert, and trust me its going to take a lot of effort" Max said while also heaving in a playful tone

" how in the fuck are we even twins" Sam asked rhetorically while resting her bent head on my side

"Beyond me" i said softly stroking her back.

" Hey why aren't you trying to forcefully kidnap oxygen out of the air like the rest of us" Max asked me, puzzeld

" Im Captain of the volley ball team max, do you know how serious our school takes that shit? Our coach makes us run 30 laps for fun"

" Oh my god thats inhumane" Sam said

" Okay kids, lets put some amusement in this park" Max chanted
" that was so lame but lets go" Sofie said, taking Max's hand in hers, and walking in the direction of the ferris wheel

I Also took sam's hand in mine and we wandered behind them.
The place was creepy in a very thrilling way, its apparently been closed down for a while now, judging by how still it looked, but it was just so, Sam. Its something that fits a date with sam perfectly, it also fits sam's personality, thrilling in a beautiful way, luring you in asking you to discover ever single corner, and boy did i want to discover

After about an hour of wandering around and getting on rides that dont work and pretending they do, Sofie muttered out " okay this place is officially creeping me out"

I gave her an affirmative nod while max threw an arm on her shoulder

" its not that creepy soph, atleast not yet"

" and by not yet you mean...?" Sofie trailed off unsure

" He means we still have the house of horror to explore" Sam said with an eyebrow wiggle

" Oh hell to the no freaking way in hell am i getting anywhere that involves horror in it" Sofie said all in one breath, and she looked very determined. Determined enough that for a second there, i would have been sure there's no way we'd end up shakingly stepping into the house of horror 15 minutes later, except, due to a lot of unfortune and alot of persuading on Sam and max's end, thats precisely what we were doing, shakingly freaking stepping into the freaking horror freaking house.

" if we die here, just know i will break up with you before we even get together in the after life Max" Sofie said holding onto Max's arm a little too hard

" I second that, Samantha" i said sternly to sam

" oh come on babe, whats the worse that could happe-" Sam was cut off by a shrieking scream that pierced through the place, and Sofie and i screamed like two girls in a crappy horror movie, like really, we did the whole hands on cheeks thing, then we were cut off by Max and Sam huddled on the floor laughing their asses off, Sofie and i shared a look of horror till it hit us; Max screamed just to scare us

" you freaking dickface i will kill you" Sofie yelled at tearing up from crying, holding stomach max while he took heavy breaths between his laughs, Sam doing the exact same

" Girlfriend what are you doing i almost peed myself i will butcher you" i Said sternly at Sam while she was trying to reach for my hand since she couldnt speak because of how hard she was laughing

" Oh my god you amateurs i am done here" Sofie now said while she was making her way to the door of the horror house while i reached both hands out for sam and max and followed suit once they were on their feet

They walked behind us while still laughing and Sofie and i couldnt even resist letting out a small chuckle ourselves

" i am going to ignore what you just did maximus and let you know that i am very hungry and i am asking you guys to feed me" Sofie said after throwing a playful punch at max's shoulder

" oh Here comes my favorite part of the day, Chuck E' Cheese girls?" Max said extending a hand towards the way out of the park

" Chuck E' Cheese brother" Sam planting a soft kiss on my cheek, then intertwining her fingers with mine and following behind Sofie and Max towards the car.
