Every love story has its own ending and usually it leads people to believe fantasies. Sometimes you have to wake up from fantasies and you have to live in reality. My story is far from fantasy. Shane Thompson was as far as my fantasies had taken me. I worked night shift at the hospital as a participant nurse. The days were long at school and the nights were even longer at the hospital. I let out a long yawn and suddenly my face had hit my desk. Suddenly the intercom sounded 'nurse Cole please report to the front desk'. I had an instant feeling my night was just about to get longer. The lady at the front desk looked up at me and said "room 315 will be open soon after the doctor gets out of surgery. He's going to be your patient first thing when you come in tomorrow. You'll have to work him back to health." I just nodded as I heard my alarm on my phone. Time to get off of work. My patients are always a mystery to me when I take care of them. They're like a puzzle I have to work out until they come back to health. As I'm looking at the folder for my patient, Shane Thompson. I knew he would be a mystery.
