The weekend went by so quick, I barely had any time to make the arrangements that I needed to make. Monday, I walked into the hospital with so much pride. I scanned all the decorations on the walls in every room you entered. Even in the elevator. I pulled out Shane's file and skimmed through it to make sure everything was going well and nothing happened while I was gone. Everything was good.

"I see you've been doing good while I've been gone. I also saw that you even got to walking without your walker. That's great! How are you feeling today?"

He sat up in his bed and he got a grin on his face.

"I feel pretty great, actually. My parents stopped by and brought me some chocolate for Valentine's Day. It was good while it lasted."

We both chuckled.

"Do you have any plans tonight?"

"This bed is my valentine tonight. I planned a date with it."

"Well, break up with your bed and come with me. We now have plans."

He jolted up with a gigantic smile on his face. I wasn't sure if he was happy to have something to do tonight or if he was excited that whatever he was doing, it was with me. We walked to the cafeteria and his eyes got big when he saw what I had planned for the two of us. A table was prepared just for two and a single rose was displayed as the center piece. Candles were lit everywhere and the light was a little dim. The decorations or the tone of the night was not my idea, but that's what we had to work with. The doctors probably got a little carried away with the decorations, but it was pretty nice. What I had planned for us was sitting on the table. McDonald's. He pulled the seat out for me and then he found his way to his."Are you okay?" He nodded his head and sat down. He looked up with a mile wide smile."McDonald's?" We both giggled."Well, you've been stuck eating the cafeteria food and nothing else. I thought you would want some real food before you got out of here." I looked over my shoulder to make sure there wasn't any cooks around me ready to fight."No, this is perfect. I see you've gotten my favorite burger remembered." I gave out a little laugh. We began eating our burgers and fries. After we were done, we didn't want to go up to the room just yet so we stayed in our seats talking each other's heads off and laughing at everything we would say. I learned everything about him just in two hours. I started to grab the trash off the table."We should head up to the room now. It's getting pretty late." He grabbed my arm as I stood up out of my chair."Is it bad to love you?"
