We spent hours on the phone talking about last night. Our relationship was basically known around to everyone. We became the cutest couple. I didn't care about the labels. I was too busy getting caught in his hazel eyes to worry about the petty things like that. Plus, graduation was tomorrow. I had a lot more to worry about than stupid labels. Shane and I walked through the door, holding hands yet again, to pick up our caps and gowns. When we got back to my house, we tried them on and had a fashion show. He won the show. It ended in sweet kisses and a good night. I couldn't go to sleep after he left. I knew that tomorrow everything would be different. We would be graduated and on our own. I don't know if I'm really ready for that. Especially since I haven't told him I've been accepted to NYU. I planned to tell him after graduation and hope for the best reaction possible. Finally, I fell asleep and just like that, it was time to wake up. Hours were spent on hair and makeup and a couple minutes was put into getting dressed. They called my name and I was so proud of myself. They called Shane's name and I couldn't help but be every bit of proud. When I realized how big my smile was, I looked down knowing that my freckles were standing out. Two hours later, we arrived at the graduation party. Everyone was there, at least the ones who weren't busy packing for college. Almost everyone had a plan for their life. Shane was not one of those people. He had no clue what he was going to do now. But that wasn't the only thing he had no clue about. I still haven't told him about me being accepted into NYU. I wanted him to have fun and celebrate graduating high school. I certainly didn't want to hurt him. The night was growing long and we had both had a couple of drinks. He decided to crash at my house since, of course, my mother was never home. She was always working. My dad on the other hand, good luck finding him. He left a long time ago and he hasn't returned. The house was always empty since my mom was always traveling with her job. She has always been secretive, but it wasn't hard to be when you are always gone. My plan had finally kinked in my head. I would tell him about college in the morning.
