"So you're in high school?"

"Yes, we go to the same school."

"There must be so many things going around school about me."

"Do you remember what happened?"

"It's very faint, but yes. I had come to a stop light but someone had been texting and driving behind me. They didn't stop so they rammed me into oncoming traffic."

"Unfortunate."

His smirk came back, getting bigger now.

"It's not completely bad."

I began to blush so I hurried out of the room. As I closed the door, the doctor had rammed into my shoulder."I'm so sorry! I was skimming through my files, not even paying attention to where I was walking." I picked up the clipboard I had dropped on the floor."It's okay. I wasn't paying attention either." He started to walk away, when all of a sudden it had seemed as if he had a light bulb arise over his head."I was meaning to tell you, all the nurses are decorating their patients rooms and the doctors will be decorating the waiting room and the front desk for Valentine's Day. I need you to decorate Mr. Thompson's room tonight since you won't be working this weekend. Then when you get back Monday, it will be up and ready for Valentine's Day." I let out a loud groan and headed to the janitor's closet. I grabbed the box with the room number on it and stomped back into the room. I did not want to be in there with how the conversation just ended."I won't bother you. I just have to put up these decorations in here for Valentine's Day and then I will be out of your hair." I began putting them up on the walls when he asked, "You're not going to bother me. Will I still be in here Monday?" I looked at him blankly because I knew the answer, I just didn't want to hurt him."Um, yes." His face told me everything he was feeling at that moment. How could it be fun in a hospital on Valentine's Day? I started to feel his sadness."Do you have a girlfriend?" He shook his head no and began to look down."You?" I shook my head too. Just then I had an idea. Maybe Valentine's Day wouldn't be that bad.
