Harry's POV:
I couldn't believe how one night had turned into a nightmare in less than twenty four hours. Just a day ago I was having the best time of my life with Jade, and now here I am lonely and in deep shit. I knew I had made a lot of mistakes in the past but choosing to go out on dates for my image was the worst one. Not because I chose to but because either I did it or the whole band would come crashing down. There were rules, rules that even though some have tried to publicize to our fans somehow we ended covering them up with even more lies. Though we really honestly didn't want to lie to them at all.
There are rules for everything we do and all of our management team is aware of it. We don't mean to scam our fans or anything like that. But sometimes you have to do what you have to do to sell. And sex sells, if not then why all of the sexy photo shoots, why all of sudden tanks, snapbacks, and private trainers on scene before every pre-show locations. Not everyone of us were being force to the rules but each of us had their own specific things.
Like Niall he wasn't allowed to have a girlfriend because he was the sweet one. Zayn was allowed to get as many tattoos as he wants because he was the rebel the only thing he couldn't do was delete his social networking sites, and he also had to date Perrie Edwards from Little Mix no matter cheating rumors but they did love each other truthfully. Louis he had to be in charge of all he little details for everything and date a regular gal which they really love each other no matter what anyone says so at least he is happy. Liam he was force to use his heart breaking break up as a reckoning force to be the new bad boy changing his image.
And I, I had to be the womanizer even though I am not. I had to pretend and fake relationships with the girl's next door: The A-Lister's like models Elizabeth & Liz (The Twins), Taylor Rama, and a few other ladies mostly older than me. For some reason the thought of a younger lad dating a women a few years older made every other woman in the world jealous and pick up the latest tabloids, cd, magaines, and more. And even more when those relationships failed and intrigued everybody else on why and the what happened.
As for myself at first I was young and naive and I accept it the challenge thinking it would be a easy extra paycheck. I never thought of how bad this would ruin my potential chances and liberty when I really wanted to date whoever I wanted whoever I chose. Because I no longer was Harold Edward Styles but more so Harry Styles from One Direction who belonged to management. I was just another tool in everybody else's eyes. And that hurt, I was starting to feel alone and for a 20 year old who had almost everything except a personal private life to call its own. And as most of my band mates and myself we felt like our dreams came with a price to pay and we took it but realizing now that not everything is as shiny and pretty as it seems.
My phone vibrated again and it was Jade
Hey Harry I know you're probably busy so I won't bother you. I just want to know your okay.
-Jade xxx
The thoughts of not being able to be with Jade haunted me. The fact that I would not be able to longer see her, broke me inside more than she will ever know. But I still wanted her in my life, I wasn't ready to let her go, not yet. Things had just started so well. So I called her
Hi babe, are you busy? I just um got your text. I miss you so badly. I wish I was there with you really. Your the best damn thing that has happened to me .Listen I have to go but Jade I - I love you babe." I said without any hesitation.
I could hear that she was taken back by my words and feelings for her. But it all became more clear to me that I had fallen deep for her and she had too when she said
"I love you too Harry"
The next day I was called in to Simon's office again and he was all smiles.
"Pardon, you wanted to see me?' as I knocked on his opened door.
"Styles! Come on in my boy, and have a seat" he says.
As I walked over to take my seat, I took a glance as the seat that was next to me and I immediately was taken back when I saw
"Liz?! What in the world are you doing here?" I asked annoyed at her presence.
"Hello there Harry" she said as she looked at me with cheekiness on her face.
Liz was a model she was blonde, tall, skinny, blue eyes and had a twin sister Elizabeth. She was very keen into making her career boom after she had problems with substance abuse. So now she is trying to pick her career up.
"I'm here on business should you know" she turned back and smiled at Simon.
"Business? What kind of business?" I could not believe what was going on.
"Now Harry take a seat and we can all move on" Simon proceeded.
I pulled out my chair a little father and sat impatiently.
"Now I will overlook all of your mess from your party and make your image again proper. So what you will do is your two are going to be back to basics. That means to the public eye you two will be dating again, you will be head over heels in love with each other, because both of you will need the press to give you two a bump. And.." as Simon gets disrupted by me.
"What?! No! I am not going to do this. I refuse!" I shouted in demand.
"Styles you will do as I say or you will be out of the band and all of you will be cut half your salary as we speak!" Simon shouted back.
"Do you understand!" he insisted.
"There is no way I don't even like her, yet alone "head over heels in love"" I pleaded.
"Now Harry is not like I am in love with you either sweetie, but you know its for the best and interests of us all. So do yourself a favor and be quiet those little plumps lips of yours. You will be needing them after all, for all of our love shots in front of the paps" she exclaims as she gets up from her seat and walks over to me massaging my shoulders.
"Get your hands off me, this whole thing is disgusting" as I stood up and left the room.
"Wow, I apologize Liz but he will be ready I assure" said Simon.
"I hope so Simon he seems a little sentimental after all, hmm who would have known" Liz sarcastically stated.
" You let me deal with Styles and you worry about what you have to do to keep this relationship afloat. You may leave now" Simon replied.
