Chapter 2:  One Thing

*** Flashback to their feelings on how they met.

Harry’s POV:

I could feel my nerves getting to me ten times worse than the regular. I guess because in the back of my mind I knew that Jade was going to be somewhere in the crowd tonight and I wanted to make sure I gave her my best impression. I could hear my heart thumping at the sounds of shrieks and screaming of our fans. The only thing that kept us from seeing them was that silk curtain with our band’s logo reflected on it. As we positioned ourselves on stage we all wished each other luck one last time before the show started. The place goes dark and the screaming of the fans get louder as they chant our names, I could feel the curtain drop behind me as the last scene of the introduction video ended, revealing all of us underneath a bright and shining spotlights.

Every chance I was on stage, I was living my dream. Music is everything to me and to be able to travel the world, and have the opportunity to step foot on a stage and share my passion with everyone makes everything I have left behind worth it. It is in those moments when you realize you can’t take any of this for granted.  As we performed within our first two songs my eyes started to search through the crowd but I still hadn’t seen her just yet. And I think you could start to see the frustration in my face, as I licked my lips and bit them as my eyes shut for a little staring deep in the ocean of fans. Until my eyes finally found the gaze in her beautiful hazel eyes and a playful smirk, that fell out naturally from the corner of her lips. 

Jade’s POV:

I don’t even think I had words to express how I felt. I mean all of my hopes of ever attending the concert that night had shattered when I had heard the lady from the box office say the words “SOLD OUT” which played in my mind really slow as she said them. I felt my heart sank after we had driven all the way to Miami, booked a hotel, all for a chance of maybe being able to attend and all for nothing. Scalper’s prices were over priced ridiculous, who sells each ticket at a thousand dollars or more and not even front row? Ugh it was disgusting.  Blaire and I walked disappointed all along the shopping center as we made our way back to our car. When I suddenly bumped into someone else needless to say that to my surprise, when I looked up and saw Harry Styles from One Direction standing right in front of me. My whole world completely and utterly stopped moving.

I felt as light as a feather, I lost the sense of movement in my hands as I thought I was going to either pass out or die. I could feel myself blushing as I heard his and Blaire’s voice fading in the background as I stared at his green eyes. I fell back into reality when Blaire hit me on my back. Wow, was this really happening? Words were exchanged and to my surprise even my phone number. I couldn’t believe how nice, and charming he was even more in person. It was like an angel had fallen off of heaven and reminisced in front of me. And for those split seconds heaven was sharing their angel with me. I can’t believe that he would help us get tickets, and that there was a possibility that we would be seeing him and the rest of the band perform. When he hugged me, and gave me a kiss on the cheek I felt as the adrenaline of happiness in my body took over. I really thought I was going to faint in his toned arms. Wow up close and personal with Harry Styles, my life would never be the same.  

When Blaire and I got straight back to the hotel we definitely chose our best outfits for the night. Just in case Harry called and when he did to confirm I was so ecstatic, that my mind couldn’t even process that he had kept his word and most importantly we were going to the concert. I don’t know who was more excited, I think we were pretty much still in shocked.  We took a lot of pictures on the way to the venue and definitely documenting every step of the way.  Just like Harry had told us there was someone waiting outside with a sign that said Jade on it. There were so many fans waiting outside it looked like a madhouse.
