Chapter 15: Family Ties

Jade's POV:

            I honestly don't know what in the world I was thinking leaving everything behind and going with Harry to London. I basically picked up and left and on my way to the airport I was calling in at my job saying I had a family emergency and that I would have to be out for two weeks, and same thing for my classes. I called Blair to let her know that I would be out in the UK for at least those two weeks and  have her send me any notes, or assignments in an email or through Skype. I told her I would explain everything in detail later on once I figured everything that was going on myself.  

            Meahwhile, Harry called his mother Anne, to let her know that we would be coming and she was excited to meet me as well as his sister.  It was such a long flight and so many emotions ran through my mind in less than hours. I had no idea what was to come from all of this. All I know is that in this moment I feel scared, nervous, and in love. And I am not the type of girl to usually get afraid of things but there is always that unexpected outcomes from things in life that always make you a little nervous. It was a pretty long flight but at least we got to spend sometime alone together. To our surprise we took the flight so early in the morning hours that when we arrived there wasn't a lot of fans waiting to mob Harry from how late we arrived at the Manchester Airport. Though he would probably get recognized by a few, it was nothing compared to the last time in LA.

            When we get there, there are two lovely women waiting for us as they waved at us. As soon as they caught a glimpse of Harry they started to jump up and down on their feet. Once we went down the escalators we walked closer towards them as the oldest woman runs towards Harry holding him in a tight hold as Harry let go of my hand to hug her back. "My boy! I have missed you so much! I love you" as a couple of tears come down from her face but her smile was larger than life.  She then releases him from her hold and the youngest woman does the same. "I love you!" is all that she says while she hugs him clutching her hands in the back of his shirt. 

            She then lets go and Harry turns towards me, he extended his hand to grab mine and says "Mum, Gemma I want you to meet Jade, my girlfriend". My mouth must have dropped at the words that fell from his mouth and the sound of his voice as he said it. I felt speechless, as his mom took a step towards me and wrapped her arm around in a hug.Harry had never officially asked me to be his girlfriend well at least with the term neither he made it public, it was like we have hidden our relationship all up until now, I guess. My thoughts were interrupted when his mother held me in her arms.

            "It's so nice to finally meet you" her voice held so much emotion and joy. I hugged her back, and then his sisters shyly stepped forward "Hi Jade, heard a lot about you. Thank you for keeping my brother sane!" she jokes sarcastically as she gave me a warm hug.

            "Its no problem! Its so very nice to meet the both of you. You do have a great son and brother." I complimented as I try to keep my happy tears from unfolding. Harry then grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers on a tight hold. And I could see both women catching a glimpse of his sudden action and smile back at us.  

            "Well I guess we should have a proper cuppa  and..." Anne carried on just to get cut off by Harry quite shortly after.

            " Mum, I have to go to the studio and meet up with the lads right after so I can't stay too long. I'm sorry" he apologizes as his mother's face slowly dimmed but acknowledging her sons petition.

            "That's what you have a successful son for, well let's get going then" she says as she smiles politely back. Both of Anne and Gemma helped both Harry and I with only another extra luggage as we walked up to Anne's car.
