Yazmin POV(yay shes back)
Carter put his arm around my shoulder as we walked down the street.We were heading to IHOP for breakfast.
It was awkward.We both didn't act like ourselves last night when we fooled around.
I was unusually confident and he was so...sexy and funny.I smiled to myself.Not that he isn't always but it felt so natural and it was calm.And he made me feel comfortable.I liked that.
“Yaz?”
“Yeah?”
“Were here.”
We walked inside and got our menus.
I was starving so I ordered pancakes,eggs,bacon and a super hot coffee.
“Well someone loves to eat”Carter smiled.
“Oh”I pouted.
“Thats a good thing Yaz. ”Carter held my hand in his.
“No its not.That just means I'm fat.”I replied.
“You are not fat.”Carter rolled his eyes.
“Whatever you say, suck up.”
“You think Im saying that to-.You should know by now that I love you.More than you know.”
I smiled.“I love you too.”
Carter grinned.
“And I was joking but take it serious I don't care”I shrugged,drinking the water that we recieved.
“You think that's funny?”He said,moving all up in my space.
“Back up,white boy.”I said,putting a hand up.
Carter hugged me and squeezed me with all his might.I laughed.He kissed my cheek,letting me go.
“Heres your food.The coffee is on the way.”
Yay!I've never been so happy to see food.
I took up and my fork and bit into the huge pankcake.Yum.
“Can I taste some?”
“No!Its mine ”I said,like a little baby.
Carter chuckled.“Okay fine.”
“Hmm”I said,eating.
Carter watched me as I ate my pancake.I gave him a why-are-you-watching-me-you-creep face.
“What?”
“Nothing”He continued to stare.
“Your creeping me out”I said,reaching for my napkin.
“Sorry.I just...your so cute.”Carter grinned.I rolled my eyes.Boys.
“I know”I smiled,flipping my hair.
Carter laughed.“Someomes being cocky.”
“Its called loving yourself ”I replied,taking the coffee from the waitress.
“Theres a difference between the two”Carter whispered in my ear.
“I was not being cocky!”I yelled.
“Watch your mouth”Carter warned,with a serious tone.
“Me?I'm the one whos older here”I gave him a stink look.
“Really?Your gonna play that card?"Carter asked.
“Pretty much”.
He grabbed my waist and lifted my legs over his.
