I groaned.Ugh.Who the hell is bouncing on me?

I opened my eyes.

Yaz smiled at me.

Huh?

"Yaz,what is happening?"I asked,hoarsely.

"Carter!I missed you!You were sleeping!!!"She screaming,jumping up and down on the bed.

Tf is happening right now?Am I still dreaming?

"Shhhhh.Stop talking."I rubbed my head and blinked my eyes.

"Why?Don't you miss me?I miss you!!!"

Why was she talking like a baby?I'm so confused.

I got off the bed.

"Carter catch me!"

I turned around.She fell on the floor.

"Ahhhhh!!!"She started crying.

What is going on?

"Yaz stop!"I bent down and picked her up.

She cried in my shoulder.I patted her back awkwardly.

I was still confused.

"Carter?"she pouted.

"Um yeah?"I asked,blinking over and over.I even pinched myself.

"Do you still love me?"She asked.

"Of course baby"I replied as I banged my head on the door.

"Then why are you hurting yourself?"

"Im waking myself up."

"What?But we're already awake"she said cheerfully smiling.

I slapped my face instead.

"Im sorry Yaz.Goodnight."

I dived in the bed and went back to sleep.

I opened my eyes.

Yaz?

She was laying on me and playing with barbie dolls.Wtf?

Where did the dolls come from?

"Hey sleepyhead."Yaz grinned,kissing my nose.

Ugh...

"Hi.I'm still dreaming so I'll go-"

"No!Don't sleep anymore.Play with me"Yaz handed me a Ken doll.

"Yazmin please tell me what's going on?."

"Leslie took me to get dollies and I came back here."

I rubbed my head.What?

I need to try to remember because I'm in a fog.

I was in the hospital.Yaz was asleep.She woke up and never spoke.We took her home.Then we both went to sleep.

Now I'm here.

"I was asleep?"I asked.

"Uh huh.Leslie said not to wake you.So I didn't."She smiled,proud of herself.

"Okay.Do you know what happened to you?"I asked.

"Uh huh.Leslie said I got hit in the head, but I only wanted to party."

"How much do you remember?"I asked.

"Uh well before I got knocked out I was at the bar and I was talking to this nice guy.He bought me a drink which I was about to take when-"

"Nice guy?"I asked,feeling my hand beginning to fist.

"Yup.Very nice"Yaz grinned.

"Hmph.Okay.I'll ignore that for now.Why are you acting like a baby? Did he mess with your brain?"I asked,touching her forehead.

She shook her head."No.I think it happened when I fell."she smiled,making Barbie fall.

Okay this shit is just weird.I need to take her to the hospital once more.

"Cmon Yaz.We have to take you to the hospital."

Yazmin put her dollies away and leaned down to meet my eyes.

"Leslie also took me.You are one deep sleeper,my friend."She giggled,running off.

I rubbed my head again.I need to call Leslie.

"I don't know.The doctor says its definetly temporary.He's not sure when she will be back to normal though."

"What?None of this makes sense Leslie.Why would she become a baby if all she did was get knocked out?"

Leslie sighed."The doctor says it hit her on a part of her brain where her memory lays.I guess it switched.And brought her back to when she was younger."

"I-I what am I supposed to do with her?"

"Im sorry Carter. I wish I knew.Take care of her.I have work.Bye."

She hung up.

Yaz came back in the room.

"Hey Carter"She greeted,dragging out my name.

"Do you remember how we met?"

Yaz nodded."Evil Marco kidnapped us.Yah.I remember.Carter,can you please give me a bath?"

I laughed."You're physically capable of doing that yourself."

Yaz pouted."Please"

"I can't."

I've seen her naked but I'm not doing that when she's not even fully herself.It would feel too weird.

"Please!?!I feel dirty."

"Then go shower"I pointed to the bathroom.

"I don't know how."

I sighed.Why me?

"Fine.I'm coming."
