Chapter 8

I wake up and look around I'm in my room. Hey maybe it was all just a dream I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror. The shirt I'm wearing I've never seen it before. The shirt is long enough to be a dress thank God because I just realized I'm not wearing underwear I run to my room to get dressed the same time I hear a truck come down my driveway. I don't take much notice because dad has company over all the time. As I get dressed I start to hear talking I'm not very good at pinpointing who's voice is who's so I don't know who's out their but I can here what their saying.
"She needs to know you can't keep this from her" males voice "I can and I will half of her family will disown her if they find out what she is".(females voice)"the boys right Ann she needs to know it's part of the family tradition plus she's smart enough not to tell them they can't disown her if they don't know." Before I heard anymore I walked out side to see my parents and Alex arguing and Augustus and Elizabeth getting out of his truck. As they walk up to the group they start talking and pretty soon I stop understanding what their saying. Just to try it out I try to talk to Alex in my head "Alex? What are you guess talking about?" As if on cue Alex turns around and everyone stops talking. Not really liking everyone looking at me I look at my feet then start walking to the group. "What's going on?" I ask. No one answers at first then Elizabeth asks "so how does it feel to be a werewolf?"

"What was they talking about" I ask Elizabeth, we're in my room now because I just explained to her what it was like to be a werewolf and because I wasn't allowed near Alex, but my parents are not done talking to him so he hasn't left. "O your mom's afraid that her family will find out and disclaim you but I highly doubt it because they love you and Augustus is one too." Elizabeth said casually "wait what Augustus is a werewolf." I asked shocked "um ya" she replied "why else would he be here" "um I don't know but not because he's a werewolf" well he is and you just have you deal with it" she said sounding offended "What's wrong with you" I ask "what are you in love with him or something" "NO!" she said flustered she turned just as her cheeks began turning amber. "Ha you do like him why didn't you tell me?" I ask offended "well because I just started likeing him off don't know why" she said embarrassed. Just then someone knocks on the door "Arual its Alex can I come in" "um ya sure," I reply looking at Elizabeth who is still blushing. "Hey um your parents said I can tell you everything" Alex says looking flushed " Elizabeth can I talk to Arual alone" Alex asked still not making eye contact "ya sure I'll be in the other room if you need me," Elizabeth says directed to me. As she leaves the room she shuts the door and Alex walks to my bed and sits down. "Let's start from the beginning" He says before looking out the window.
