I wake up to the sound of my little brother yelling for me to wake up. I look at the clock and it's five minutes past the time my alarm was exposed to go off. I guess I forgot to set it last night, groovy. As I walk to the shower I grab my phone to start my morning play list I see I have a text from Layton.
Layton: "good morning beautiful"
Keya:"morning babe"
Layton :"what you doing"
Keya:"bout to take shower"
Layton:"can I join ;)"
Kaya:"lol no TTY when I get out"
Layton :"k love ya"
I haven't said it back to him yet I want to say it in person but every time I get the chance I get to scared. I'm scared that one day he won't love me back, that he'll say I love you to someone else. I start my play list and get in the shower when I get out I start on my makeup then hair then I go out to the bus. I'm on my phone the whole way to school and I see my two best friends Elizabeth and Shelby. I don't notice anything different today until I get off the bus. "She won't answer" Elizabeth says holding out her phone. "What's do you mean who?" I ask now worried. "Arual her bus came by and she's not here " Elizabeth says out of breath, "she probably just slept in or maybe she's sick calm down." I say rolling my eyes. She puts the phone to her ear giving me a dirty look. "What are you doing," I ask "I'm calling her mom" seriously this girl worries to much
"Hey Ann this is Elizabeth is Arual coming to school today?" I see her eye go wide as my Aunt answers her question "ok thank you, I will, ok, yes, bye" "um Elizabeth what was that about" I ask, "um nothing she's sick oh look we can go in now" she says as she walks to the open door. That was weird I wonder what my aunt said to her?
