Augustus point of view

How dare he show his face here he's a vampire. No vampire has ever gone to this school before him. There's been a lot of werewolves and other things, but that's because this is werewolf territory. The only super natural creature that werewolves will kill is vampires so the others live with us in peace. So why is he doing it why is he showing his face here after what he said to me? Why would he even tell me in the first place? He's either careless and stupid. Either way I'm going to kill him. As I stair at him I see him walking towards someone and that someone is Arual. I see she's a little hesitant to walk towards him but she recovers so fast it like it never happened. I understand that see doesn't know what he is and I understand that Alex wasn't allowed to explain what being a mate is. That doesn't mean I don't want to kill him any less. But I can't I can't kill him I can't have that blood on my hands. Even though I'm a werewolf doesn't mean I won't go to jail for killing someone. Werewolf law states that you can not kill a super natural beings unless they are threatening your life and/or your mates if your a werewolf. And I can't go to jail because I promised him I'd take care of Arual. Even if he didn't ask if would have anyway she's my cousin. Not only that but I have to take care of my mate I have to be there when she turns. I have to protect my mate. As I turn from my cousin and that vanpire I see her, shes with Nicole and she doesn't know yet she doesn't know she a werewolf. But she is that's the only reason Arual's mother told her about Arual being a werewolf. And she won't know for another month. So that's another month I can't be without my mate
