Chapter 21

Alex point of view

We just pulled into the driveway of the witch doctors house. Arual is inside I need to see her but I don't know if I can handle it. The walk to the door feels like forever. The anticipation of not knowing what she will look like. Maybe she'll look the same as when I saw her last or will she look as  lifeless as a corpse. I don't want to see her in there I want to see her with a smile on her face and full of life. Not dieing. I should have never left her. I open the door and a lady answers. "Who are you" she asks "I'm Alex, Arual's mate" I answer slowly. "Good follow me" she says as she opens the door for me. She leads me to a door and before she opens it she says "for her to heal you have to mark her. Pay no attention to the pain." Before I can ask what she means by pain she opens the door. I feel it as if I'm being stabbed in the heart. It's bearable but it still hurts. I look up and I see her she's laying on the bed, her skin is pail. She doesn't look lifeless necessarily. But she doesn't look the same, full of life. She looks like the life has been drained out of her, which it basically has. I wake over to her lifeless body and brush the hair off her face. From the looks of her you would think she is cold she's not she's burning up. Werewolves are normally hot she is so much more then the normal. I look up at the lady and she says "mark her now or she will die". I bend down to her neck and the moment I bite her she starts screaming in pain and I don't blame her if she felt half the pain I did the moment I bite her she should be sreaming. I want to help her but I can't I reach for my head and I black out.
