Chapter 4

The Furies came forward with their claws ready. Each of us took out our weapon and fought one of the Furies. We fought for a while. The Fury came towards me. I stepped aside just in time. The Fury flew past me. I turned around and attacked her. I hit her on the back. She disintegrated into a pile of ashes. I looked around. Percy and Annabeth also disintegrated the rest of the Furies. We all had minor injuries.

"Everybody okay," said Annabeth.

"Yeah," me and Percy murmured while checking our injuries.

Finally, Percy said, "Lets go."

We ran toward the direction of the school. When we got their, there were so many kids. Some looked at us strangely. Probably because of our injuries and us covered in sweat and grime.

I tried looking for Grover through the crowd of kids. "I can't see Grover anywhere," I said.

"I could sense that he was here not that long ago," said Percy.

"Percy, ask Grover where they're at," said Annabeth.

Percy nodded and zoned out for a few seconds. "He says 2 blocks left, enter an alley, cross the street, and they should be their."

"Well what are we waiting for. Let's go!" I yelled at them. It took us 5 minutes to get there. When we got there we were in between two apartment buildings. We were also panting hard. Three figures stood before us. I immediately recognized Grover. There were also two kids with him. One of them was a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes. The other one was a beautiful girl. She had brown hair with silver eyes.
The two made eye contact. They made a silent agreement. Before I knew what the agreement was they turned around and ran.

Grover tried calling out to them, but they didn't listen. We followed. We were gaining on them, but that's when the girl turned around and threw a screw driver that was laying on the ground to Percy's head. Percy flipped over and groaned. The two demigods were almost to the end of the alley.

Grover sat down next to Percy,"You guys go ahead! "

Me and Annabeth ran. They were to far too catch up, so I shadow traveled. I ended up in front of them. The boy looked shock while the girl yelped. They turned around to see Annabeth their. The girl dragged the boy to the side of a building. I didn't know what they were doing until I saw the fire escape stairs. The girl quickly lowered the stairs and started climbing with the boy in tow.

"Come on, Annabeth." I yelled to her.
They were climbing fast. Soon they stopped in front of a window. The girl opened a window and climbed in. "Wait!" I yelled, but they were already inside.

Me and Annabeth followed inside. We were in a hallway with apartment doors. We did not know which door they went into. We waited for Grover and Percy to come up. Percy had a big bruise on his head.

"Whoa, Percy are you okay?" asked Annabeth with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah I am fine."

"I am gonna get her so hard," said Annabeth.

"So, Grover where are they at and what are their names?" I asked Grover while Percy calmed down Annabeth.

"The boy's name is Alex Ramos. And the girl's name is Ashely Adams."

Hmm... that's a cute name. No! Concentrate Nico.

"Ashely never goes to her house after school, or ever. They are probably at Alex house which is this one right here," he said pointing at a door after walking through the hallway.

Percy was about to knock the door when the door suddenly opened to reveal a woman probably in her thirties. With light brown hair and green eyes. She smiled at us warmly and opened the door wider.

"Welcome. Come right inside."
