Chapter 11

I've been at camp for two weeks now. The first few days were kinda tough. I did not know what was going on and was still confused. Ashely looked like she had been hit by a car crash bus. With bags under her eyes and her worried expression and to make it worse, she hasn't even been claimed yet.

I am walking to my table for breakfast along with my siblings. I see Ashely in  the same crowded table she has been sitting since we got here. Her head hung down.

Percy, the son of Poseidon, walked towards her and whispered something to her. She nodded her head. I was curious what he said so I decided to ask her afterwards.

After breakfast I caught up with Ashely and asked her,"Hey what's wrong? What did Percy say?"

"He said we're going to Olympus to ask about my godly parent," she responded tiredly. She looked down grimly.

"What's wrong," I asked concerned.

"Nothing. I didn't get much sleep at night," Ashely said,"again."

I understood that she got nightmares, so did I. But her nightmares really took a toll on her.

"I understand. So, when are you going?"

"After lunch." I nodded my head and we headed separate ways toward our assigned activities.

I had archery first. Obviously as a child of Apollo I was a natural. Especially with the bow and arrows my mother had saved for me. After I got to camp a reassured my mom I got to camp safely and she sent me a bow and a pack of special arrows. I didn't use the special arrows for practice.

After my archery, I tried sword fighting. Compared to most I wasn't that good. For one I was scrawnier than your average sword fighter. The sword didn't fit well in my hand. If it was up to me I wouldn't even try sword fighting in the first place. But Annabeth insist just in case of close combat.

It was already lunch. I walked the pavilion and Ashely was eating when I got there. Percy was as well. I got my lunch and ate as well. When finished I head towards Ashely and Percy.

"You coming?" asked Ashely with a hopeful look.

"Yes I am."

"Okay, we are just waiting for Annabeth to arrive," says Percy.

When Annabeth arrives we were off. Chiron and Nico were there waiting for us at the top. Chiron wished us good luck and reminded us to be careful.

"Nico, you ain't coming?" I asked him.

He is shaking his head,"Nah, I'm staying." I nodded. We called a cab to pick us up in front of the hill. I heard Ashely sigh as the man drove to our destination. I started to worry about the reason why she didn't get claimed as we headed towards Olympus.
