(Ashely)

"Well hello their. Welcome to the Hermes cabin," said Travis as he led me inside. Now if I do remember correctly Hermes is the god thieves. I pulled my bag close to my chest.

"And you will be sleeping here," said Travis pointing to a bed in the corner.

"Lucky us we have room for one more person, " said Connor.

"About time, we all had to sleep on the floor last time, " said Travis.

I walked over to the bed, and a bunch of kids came bustling in. They all went to separate beds. Some said hi when they noticed me others did not. I was led to a bathroom to change in PJ's.

"Okay everyone, good night," said Connor.

"Don't let the bugs bite," finished Travis. The lights were turned off and we all went to bed. Before I could enter a deep sleep I heard a whisper: sweet dreams. Everything went black.

I was running through a dark forest, only illuminated by the moonlight. I noticed I was fast and swift. I dodged under branches and jumped over logs and rocks. I came to a pond. I approached it carefully. The moon's reflection was cast upon the water. I look at the surface of the pond and gasped.

I could not believe the reflection my eyes were seeing. I wore combat boots with army pants and a silver jacket. Strapped to my back were a bow and arrows. My eyes glowed like the moonlight. My auburn hair going dark like the night sky.

All of a sudden the scenery changed. I saw no reflection of mine. I looked around and saw houses lined perfectly in line. I was in a neighborhood and a storm was going on. The wind blew the trees, making them touch the ground. Pieces of roofs flew in the air.

I heard a cry coming from behind me. I turned around in time to see a bright lighting bolt striking on a cream colored house blowing it up into flames. It did not take long for the flames to engulf the house. Outside in front stood a woman weeping with a bundle in her arms. I tried moving forward, I tried to speak, but I couldn't. I could only stand their watching. The woman mumbled some words under her breathe. Soon they were surrounded in a silver light. The light was absorbed by the bundle. A cry came from the bundle, so I would have guessed that it was a baby.

The storm seemed to lessen. Sirens were heard from afar. The woman made a basket from thin air. She put the child inside. The woman gave her one last kiss before she disappeared.

I finally was able to move. I ran toward the basket. The child cried inside. I looked in the basket to see a baby girl. She had pale skin and auburn hair. Her eyes were closed, but slowly they opened revealing silver irises. I gasped, on her neck glowed a necklace with a silver pendant on the shape of a moon.

I stop and processed everything. I looked the house: my dad died their.
I looked around: my mother was here.
I looked at the sky: that lighting bolt separated me away from my family.

Run! You're not safe at camp! Stay away from the Greek gods! Run before it's to late!

I woke with a start.
