February 1977
My tears couldn't stop falling, at this very moment I hugged my father tightly who was cuffed and about to be taken away to jail.
" DADDY " I cried before he was pulled away from my grasp, " Princess I'm sorry please forgive me....I love you " said Dad as I watched the police put him in the squad car. This was the worst day of my life and what's worse my mom was still away on her stupid vacation.
2 Days Later
I was currently in the principles office at the all girls school I had been going since I was 13.
" My apologizes Miss.Burkhart for what's happened we know that you had no idea that your father was embezzling " explained the principle, " It's alright I'm still in shock with everything that's happened " I breathed.
" Sadly since all your fathers funds were ceased were unable to have you here due to the payments no longer being made " she explains making me close my eyes, " so I'm getting kicked out? " I asked trying to stay calm.
" I'm sorry but we can help you with transfers to Point Place High School your academic credits aren't affected " taking a sharp breath I realize I have no other choice and can't argue.
Once finished I clutch the folder close to my chest trying not to allow my tears to fall in public, but as I walked down the hall everyone went silent while giving me dirty or plain stares every so often they would whisper something.
Then it got louder and more cruel that I suddenly started running down the halls til finally I ran out of the school by then tears were falling again.
