Hydes POV

7:40AM

" Great breakfast as always Mrs.Forman " I complimented finishing the last bite of waffle, " thanks mom " said Eric drinking the last bit of orange juice " your welcome boys I'm glad that fight didn't affect your appetites " she laughed.

" Now you dumbasses go learn and if I get another call from school today my foot is up your ass " said Red before going back to his paper, " yes sir " both Eric and I said, " I wish those bruises could away quicker " said Mrs.Forman looking at my black eye and Eric's face.

" No worries Mrs.Forman were men that can handle a beating " I said walking out the door with Eric.

8:15AM

When we got to school, students either backed away from me or worshipped me. After yesterdays incident people knew well not to mess with me. The guys and I were in our seats, " check out this bad boy guys " said Kelso showing the bruise on his cheek.

" Very impressive " I replied rolling my eyes, " what I'm a survivor " he said offended, " you got that bruise when you bumped into my Hydes fist " explained Eric.

" Still a bruise is a bruise " replied Kelso, just then Donna walked in but Jackie wasn't with her. " Hey guys sorry I'm late Jackie got some of the worst news ever " she explains getting our attention, " what's going on? " asked Fez just as Donna was about to explain the teacher walked in.

" I'll tell you guys at lunch " said Donna as the class started...

Lunch

11:50AM

School Parking Lot

We all met at Formans Vista Cruiser, " so what's going on? " asked Eric sitting on the trunk, " Jackie got a call this morning from a lawyer and explained what's going to happen to her dad " Donna explained nervously, " and what did they say? " I asked curiously.

Taking a breath Donna continued, " her dad is getting 60 years to life without possible probation or bail " she said looking at eyes, " wo that's crazy " said Kelso, " yes poor man...he'll be eye candy in there " commented Fez.

" Come on that isn't the appropriate thing to say " said Eric looking back at Donna, " how is she? " I asked, " pretty depressed about it so she wants to stay home for a few days " answered Donna...

6:00PM

Photo Hut

I was currently organizing photos followed by putting them in envelopes, after school is when I usually head to work so I can help the Formans out.

The door opens and in walks Leo with a bag of chips, aside from being my burnout boss he was also my friend.

" Man have you heard of these things called chips? " he asked munching away, " Leo can I ask you something " I said getting his attention, " go for it man " answered Leo looking at me. Taking a breath I begin speaking " have you ever liked anyone? " I asked.

" Hey woah man I'm flattered but I ain't into dudes " replied Leo, " no no Leo I mean have you ever liked a woman " I explained, " oh your into chicks that's a relief I knew you couldn't be into guys man " said Leo patting my back.

" So what did you ever do to let her know you care? " I asked in hopes to get an answer, " I brought her a bouquet of pineapples once but then she threw them at me for some reason " answred Leo shaking his head.

Giving him a look I scratch my head, " Leo weren't they suppose to be flowers? " I asked which got Leo to react, " OH that explains why we never had a second date but man do those things hurt " he laughed continuing to eat his chips.

Jackies POV

7:30PM

Ever since the lawyer called to tell me about my dads sentence I stayed in bed all day, crying myself into another long nap. I asked Mr.Pinciotti if I could stay home for a few days to calm down.

Donna said she would bring my homework and let me know how everyone was, it was great to feel accepted by them and to have friends again.

We haven't hung out yet due to my insecurity with my life.

* knock * * knock *

" Come in " I answered to see Donna enter with books, " hey you okay? " she asked standing at the foot of the bed, " I don't know what to feel anymore Donna " I replied looking at her.

Coming closer she rubs my back, " so much happened in so little time that I didn't react and now getting more bad news just has me depressed " I explained looking at my hands as they hold the blanket.

" I know it won't be easy for you but your going to pull through this and you'll be able to make something that's just for you " said Donna encouraging me. Looking at her I smile, " thanks Donna " I replied hugging her.

" Hey let's go hang out at Eric's " she said, " good idea " I answered getting up, " I'll meet you there ok I gotta clean up " I add before going to the bathroom.

Normal POV

8:15PM

Eric's Basement

Eric, Donna and Fez were watching TV awaiting for there missing friends, just then Kelso arrived.

" Guess who lip locked with Pam Macey " he declared while no one reacted, " who hasn't " answered Donna laughing while Kelso stood there...

Outside

Garage

Hyde was returning from work pacing back and forth while holding a single peony flower wrapped in tissue, " why did I get this stupid thing? " he asked looking at it, " doesn't mean anything " he told himself standing still.

" Steven? " asked Jackie walking into the driveway making Hyde turn to face her, " what's up " he answered out of breath, " how are you? " she asked him. " Just got off work " answered Hyde.

" I'm headed in to hang out what's with the flower? " asked Jackie seeing the flower in his hand. " This is for....um...oh hell....Jackie it's for you " he confessed holding it out to her while looking the other way.

Hydes POV

As I held out the flower I looked the other way, I wouldn't blame if she started laughing or refused to take it.

Next thing I knew I felt the tissue wrapped flower slip out of my fingers, then looking back I see Jackie smiling as she smelled the flower. " Steven this is the sweetest thing ever " she said looking at me. Kicking a stone I look at the ground, " I'm glad your smiling " I replied only to stop what I was doing.

" You like it when I smile ? " she asked standing in front of me, " your too pretty too be sad " I said now wanting to rip my hair off. " Steven...you think I'm pretty too? " she asked blushing while I faced the other way giving her my back.

" Damnit....." turning around she stood there watching me, " come on were going on a date " I declared taking her hand leading Jackie away from the Formans house.
