Jackies POV

I let out a heavy sigh as I look at the loose change and the two $5 bills I had left. Closing my eyes I knew all too well that I couldn’t go on like this, Mr.Pinciotti and Donna are so kind to have taken me in but I can't go asking for money from them.

Especially when Bob's been out of work for sometime now, I should seriously start putting my part into helping them out.

Donna just recently started working at the radio station, Eric works at Price mart and my amazing boyfriend who had barely anything works too. My eyes have seen so much in just these couple months on how middle class really is.

Being rich wasn't all what's cracked up to when my family's fortune was taken and daddy in jail.

" Okay I need to find a job " I said walking out of my room...

Hydes POV

1 Week Later

5:00PM

Kelso and I were just cruising the town in my new El Camino, " man I can't believe Leo just gave you this car " said Kelso with his arms crossed, " you heard Leo I'm the son he never had " I replied pulling up into the Formans garage.

Getting out I slide my hand over the roof and smile, " I love this car " I sighed, " whatever " said Kelso before marching inside only to make me laugh. " Hey Hyde " greeted Donna, " nice car " she added admiring my El Camino.

" Yeah she's a beauty " I said " oh is Jackie home I'd like to take her for a ride " just then Donna went quiet, " oh Jackies studying tonight she said there's a big test coming up " explained Donna.

Thinking for a bit Donna sounded like she was hiding something " Oh okay maybe I'll give her a ride tomorrow " I said before we both went inside to the basement..

Next Morning

7:50AM

Just as I said last night I took Jackie to school in my car, " thank you for the ride Steven " she said smiling, " your welcome I hope now we can go for more rides " I replied leaning in to give her a kiss.

Kissing me back I noticed how light her response and how she was dozing off, " you okay babe? " I asked seeing her eyes flutter open, " yeah yeah I'm good just up later then usual " yawned Jackie rubbing her eyes.

" Donna said you were studying for a test " I replied rubbing her back " oh yeah its really big and worth 30% of my grade " she explains sounding nervous, whatever test it is I hope she does good.

Normal POV

Formans Basement

2 Weeks Later

Hyde was beginning to notice more and more suspicious behavior from Jackie, he was noticing how she would doze off, unable to go out, if I offered her a ride after work she would make some sort of excuse.

He was starting to get upset and thought that him being serious with someone wasn't a good idea..

As usual the guys were having circle time...

" So I've noticed Jackie hasn't been around lately " said Fez eating a chocolate bar, " so what's she been saying lately Hyde...test, library or library " replied Kelso not know he repeated 2 of the places.

" Girls can be complicated I still don't get them " said Eric as Hyde looked serious while looking at the burning incense, " guys I'm taking a chance with someone who's heard my story and if any of you laugh at what's about to be said I'm gonna kill you " he said smiling at them.

" Sure " replied Eric, Fez nodded and before Kelso spoke Hyde shoved a chocolate bar in his mouth, " hey that was mine " complained Fez once quiet Hyde spoke, " anyway I've never been in love and Jackies the first one I let step over my line " he explains only to get shocked open mouth expressions from everyone.

" Geez you all look like dorks now " he added before taking a pen and scribbling something on there faces afterwards making himself laugh.

Jackies POV

9:30PM

I looked down at my pink diner girls uniform I have to wear at the 24/7 Wisconsin Truckers Diner, it wasn't my idle job but they needed help and I guess this is a starting point from me.

" Hey waitress more coffee " said a guy from the counter, picking up the hot pot I walk over to him carefully and pour coffee. My first week here wasn't the best, I dropped, spilled, got orders wrong and charged wrong but I was still given a chance by my female boss Miss.Todds.

At least I was able to now pour coffee without burning anyone, suddenly the bell for food pickup went. " Okay just take it easy " I breathed placing the hot food on a tray holding it tight I make my way to the table.

Almost there just about there don't slip, come on Jackie no more screwing up. And my a miracle I made it and I didn't get the table wrong, " enjoy your meals " I said before leaving.

" Well you seem to be getting the hang of it now " announced Miss.Todds smiling, " I guess I am, I'm sorry for all the mistakes " I replied putting the service tray down, " we all have our moments honey " she said patting my back just then more customers walked in.
