Hydes POV

Friday ( Day Before The Dance )

The Hob

It felt like a long wait but the dance was tomorrow night and for the first time I was stoked.

After a day of long useless lectures I asked Jackie if she wanted to hang out for a bit. " I thought school would never end " I sighed stretching out, " I agree biology was boring that I nearly fell asleep " she laughed tracing the tables surface.

" I'm not shy to fall asleep in class " I replied taking a sip of my coke, ever since I asked Jackie to go to the dance with me I've felt comfortable being around her and we hang out more often during or after school.

" Steven are you excited about tomorrow night? " she asks tucking hair behind her ears, " I'm looking forward to it " I answered smiling. Her face turned a little red while looking at me, " there's something I want to tell you Steven I think -...." suddenly the door opened and in walked Fez.

" Well hello you 2 how's it going? " he asks looking between us, " just hanging out " I answered sounding annoyed as Fez sat with us, " oh no I forgot I to pick up me and Donna's dresses from the cleaners " said Jackie panicked as she got up.

" No worries you go do that were hanging out later at Formans later " I said while she put her jacket on, " okay see you guys later " replies Jackie running off.

" Did I disrupt your date? " Fez asked looking at me, " we were just hanging out no biggie " I replied sipping my drink, " it was so a date my clueless American friend " teased Fez only making me shake my head.

Jackies POV

I was running down the street hurrying to get the dresses from the cleaners.

My god I was just about to confess to Hyde that I liked him, maybe Fez showing at that moment was a sign to not tell him yet. Slowing my pace down a bit my mind begins creating images of what could happen but the bigger question is " does he feel the same? ".

It's clear as day how I feel about him, before I was into guys with money and good looking but Hyde is different and there are even things we can relate too.

Approaching the cleaners I sigh in relief that it wasn't closed yet, while getting the clothes my mind still went back to my feelings for him.

Donna's House

Walking into the house I close the door behind me " Hey everybody I'm home and I got our dresses " I announced while hanging them in the closet.

Walking into the living room reading a book on the couch was Donna, " hey " I greeted " oh hey I was waiting for you so that we could head to Eric's together " replied Donna. I smile brightly sitting next to my friend, " okay what's that smile for? " asks Donna facing me.

" Okay so me and Hyde we're hanging out today " I explained thinking of my time with him, " we talked about school and how he would fall asleep in class which I thought was funny..." Donna has an amused facial expression as I tell her, " and what happened?  " she asks.

Looking the other way " I almost told Steven that I like him alot " I answered as Donna stands up, " oh my god seriously!! " she exclaimed before sitting down again. " Yeah but then Fez showed up and I took it as a sign that maybe it's not the time to say anything " I explained as my smile faded.

" No no Jackie don't think that you just tell him when your alone that's how Eric told me " said Donna, " really? how did you feel after he told you? " I asked curiously, " I felt so happy and it's kinda hard to describe " she explains blushing.

Hydes POV

Eric's Living Room

It sucks but due to a sudden leak we couldn’t hang out in the basement so we sat in the living room while Red was downstairs cursing the pipes.

" Man this blows " I said as we stared at the TV, " has anyone noticed just how bright it is here? " Fez asked looking around the room, " man I can't get comfortable here " complained Kelso as he got up from the floor.

" I hope Donna and Jackie don't enter from the basement " said Eric concerned, " Hyde I'm sorry for interrupting your date with Jackie " said Fez getting both Kelso and Eric's attention.

" What!! Woah!!! You gotta tell us this " said Kelso standing next to me, " oh this should be good to hear " added Eric, getting annoyed by these three I stand up. " Hey can't I have a bit of privacy about what goes on between me and Jackie? " I asked clearly upset.

" We're just curious to know " replied Fez, " what happened today wasn't a date it was just 2 friends hanging out and talking about random things " I explain walking to the corner of Reds bar. " Hyde man don't get upset...I mean we're happy for you that your into someone " said Kelso.

I knew discussing my feelings for Jackie with these 3 was a mistake because ever since then they make it the hot topic of our hangouts.

" Guys just do me favor for now on leave my personal life alone " I said with my back facing the front door, " come on man calm down " said Eric. " No I won't see this is why I never talk about my feelings..." unaware that the door opened I continue my rage...

" And another thing Forman " I stated, " Hyde " said Kelso, " shut up Kelso " I replied, " Hyde " said Fez, " I bet anything that everyone thinks that Steven Hyde is only taking that thiefs daughter to the dance because no one is bad ass enough to take her " I answered only this time it was silent.

" Hyde " said Eric gesturing to look behind me, slowly turning there standing with Donna was Jackie but before I could take a step she rushed out the door, " JACKIE WAIT!!! " I shout going after her.

Before I could grab her wrist she ran fast to Donna's House leaving me alone on the lawn, " Damn it " I hissed knowing all well she no longer wanted to be my date.
