Jonathan moved away from the thing basically suffocating him as he awoke from his slumber. He felt the needles in his arms as he tried to stretch away from the thing he was holding, wincing slightly. He was getting more sore by the minute. Fucking hell.
At least he didn't feel the massive pain in his stomach anymore.
Jonathan yawned and opened his eyes.
The thing was Evan.
Jonathan blinked, confused, and then turned his head to look at the clock on the wall.
9:48.
"Holy...Um, Evan," Jonathan panicked and slightly shook the heat-radiating body next to him.
Evan complied quite easily, mumbling, out, "Wha? What's wrong..."
"You're missing school!"
"Huh?" Evan opened his eyes, only to be met with the most beautiful face ever. He blushed, looking at the clock as well.
"Well...my dad's in jail so he can't yell at me when I'm MIA from school for one day," Evan smirked at Jonathan.
Jonathan puffed his cheeks, hating how Evan had turned that into a joke almost instantly. Evan let out a chuckle and extended his arms more towards Jonathan than they already were, pulling him closer.
Jonathan huffed, "Do the others know?"
"I'm pretty sure they've already guessed."
"You not even hungry or anything right now?"
"Nope. Are YOU hungry?"
"Nah. I'd probably barf it out, too, considering my intestines were almost shot to mush."
Evan frowned and gripped the hospital clothing Jonathan was wearing. Jonathan blinked at the sudden intrusion and sighed, "I'm fine, dude."
Evan nodded slightly and just closed his eyes again, making their foreheads touch. Jonathan smiled at the face that was so close to him now, and closed his eyes as well.

"So you know nothing?" Mr. Fischbach pried.
Craig and Brian shook their heads. "Wasn't there a flu epidemic going around?" Brock said.
The teacher pondered about that for a moment, and then just shrugged.
Brock let out a sigh as the bell rang.
"Why do they all even keep asking, anyway like..." Brian whispered towards the two who shrugged in response. Obviously the teachers were worried about the new prodigy in school, Jonathan, and his right-hand husband- I MEAN MAN, Evan.
...
Yeah, even the teachers thought they were a cute couple.
"Lunch! Yesss..." Craig hissed on.
"You've been hanging with Calvin during History too much, fucking hell," Brian facepalmed as Brock chuckled.
The three walked to the cafeteria, got their food and calmly joined everyone else in their seat as they were the last to arrive at this time.
Silence was evident as everyone just ate, occasionally small-talking it out about classes.
"Anybody going to the hospital later this evening?" Lui asked after gulping down the last of his water.
"I'm going at 8, and only because Evan fucking asked me to bring him clothes," Tyler smirked.
"What, not because of Jonathan?"
