Batgirl Rises

"That's the spirit my little girl!!" Joker exclaimed as he, Joy buzzer, Scarecrow and Harley Quinn jumped off the plane at Gotham airport.

"I didn't think planes from Academy City could move so fast Papa!!" said Joy Buzzer, grinning.

"Oh yes they can my dear girl! Mr. J's back in town!" Joker exclaimed. "The Clown Prince of Crime is back on his throne!! What can be more fabulous then that!? Tonight.. Joker reclaims Gotham!!!"

"Heheheheheheh.." Joy Buzzer began to chuckle.

"Ahhh! And my darling girl is practically laughing at the prospect of Joker's rule!!" said Joker.

"Not.. quite.. Daddy.." Joy Buzzer turned and pointed a gun at Joker.

"Wh-what?" said Joker.. blinking, a grin still plastered on his face.

"You see." said Joy Buzzer. "I'm still quite sore about how you tortured us... remember when you caught Mikoto? And made me with all those torturous experiments!! WELL BIG NEWS MR. J!!! ONLY I GET TO TORTURE MY GOODY TWO SHOES SELF!!!!"

"Ahhhh.. now.. sweetheart.." Joker stammered.

"AND ANOTHER THING!!" Joy Buzzer growled. "You made me.. because you wanted to continue the Joker legacy! Well, let's get something through your thick skull pops.. I am NOT Joker Number 2!! I ain't gonna go through history being known as backup Joker that Papa made in case he snuffed it!! NO!! I am THE JOY BUZZER!!! I'm going to smear the name Joker out of the history books, and paste  my name over it in big fat letters!!!! Nobody will remember you.. but everybody will remember MEEEE!!!"

Joker gritted his teeth, his face suddenly contorting into anger as Harley backed away fearfully. "You ungrateful little- FINE! I find me a new Joker Junior!! Right after I give you the boot you naughty brat!!"

Joker held up a trigger and pressed it. "I bet you don't remember the little chippy friend we had installed in your brain just in case... wait.. IS THIS THING FAULTY!?"

Joker pressed it repeatedly. "WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH THIS THING!!!?"

"I'm afraid.. I'll have to answer to that." Scarecrow held up his syringe fingers to reveal he was holding a small bomb chip.  "It only takes a small nick.. but.. after a 30 minute surgery, I was able to remove it.."

Joker stared at Scarecrow. "H-how.. SCARECROW.. DOUBLE CROSSES JOKER!? THAT'S THE WORST JOKE EVER!!!"

"Actually." said Scarecrow with a chuckle. "I'm not the double crosser."

Joy Buzzer laughed. "That's right Pops!! I've been in control.. from the very very beginning!! You see.. Mikoto Misaka didn't know that I'd already gained enough strength to take complete control of her body right before she came to Academy City... I figured, I'd let her take the wheel for now... whenever she went to sleep though.. I would take control.. get used to our.. mutual body.. That's when I reached out to Scarecrow.."

"I didn't believe who she was at first." said Scarecrow. "I thought the Railgun was playing tricks.. but then.. when I figured out Batgirl was Railgun.. I began realize the truth..."

"And so we formed an agreement.." said Joy Buzzer. "You see.. Scarecrow isn't the big boss take over kind of guy.. he just likes experimenting with his fear! If he became my devoted henchman, not only would I completely take over his hated enemy Batgirl and make her suffer, but I would ALSO let him experiment with our secret family of Joker Gas, and combine it with his new magically enchanted Fear Gas.. for a new kind of fun!!! Thanks for giving me the recipe by the way.."

"Ya... wha.." Joker stammered.

"And well, Scarecrow performed the operation that removed the bomb in my head!" said Joy Buzzer. "All simple math Mr. J!!! And Mamma! Don't worry! I'm not killing you! I love mothers!! And you took me as your own so quickly! But Papa.. I'm sorry! But.. the last laugh.. BELONGS TO ME!!"
