            Finn's POV
I nervously paced around the medical center. She had to be ok. She had to. Sweating, I took off my jacket. Luke ran in the room.
"How did you beat me here?" He ask.
"I found a speeder."
He gave me a you should have picked me up look.
"Family of Rey Skywalker." A medical droid said. Luke and I walked over. "What is your relationship?" She said stopping me.
   "Adopted brother?" I said.
"Nice try. Boyfriends go after family."
A few hours later Luke still hadn't returned. I looked at the clock. 8:32. Had I really been here that long? I walked out of the medical center with plans of returning tomorrow. I walked to my apartment and quickly laid in bed, however had a sleepless night. I could not stop thinking about Rey. Was she ok? Why hadn't Luke came out and told me anything?
The next morning, I woke up and for a split second, I completely forgot about everything yesterday. Than reality sunk in. The girl I loved but wasn't supposed to, could be dead. I stood up from bed and walked to the bathroom. I could see the little circles under my eyes. I tossed on a clothes and walked down to the Starbucks in between my apartment and the medical system. I ordered a large mocha with several shots of espresso. And waited for my name to be called. About 10 minutes later it finally happened. Ok maybe that was an exaggeration, but I should not wait that long for a simple coffee order!
I walked into the medical center to see a droid running the counter. A perfect opportunity to use a little something I picked up from Rey. I walked up to the window and looked at the droid.
"I'm looking for Rey Skywalker," I said.
"Are you family?" It said in a robotic voice.
"Yes," I said waving my hand.
"Room 215," it said. I'll have to remember Jedi mind tricks work, even without the force. I followed the signs to Rey's room.
Maybe this is why Luke never told me what was going on. A small sized bullet hole, which covered her lifeless face. Mainly her check.
"Finn," Luke said, "you shouldn't be here."
"I have too," I said talking a breathe.
"You really like her don't you?" He said.
   "I love her."
   "I know, that's my concern."
"I promise I will never hurt her."
"If you ever get a chance."
   "What do you mean?"
"She got shot pretty bad in the heart. They're not sure she will make it."
I blinked holding back tears, near in shock. I couldn't imagine what Luke was going through. His only daughter, near death.
By 11:35, i knew I had to get out of here. "I'm going to go grab lunch," I said, "do you want anything?"
"I guess. Can you just pick me up a salad and (blue) milk?"
"Yeah, I'll be back in about a haft an hour."
I walked out into the cold streets. A soft breeze blew into the wind when I approached the cafe. I ordered Luke's stuff as well as a blt for me. I payed and carried the bag up to Rey's hospital room. I gave Luke his milk and salad and we both slowly ate hoping something would change. Suddenly the heart morning speed up, and stopped.
