Rey's POV
"Finn, I'm a Jedi! I can't have any romance."
"We can make it work! Your grandfather was married!"
"He turned to the dark side! And now this is about marriage?you kissed me, and I kinda liked it, but I can't betray my father, my aunt and my uncle." (In this story Luke is Rey's father. Han Solo is also still alive.)
"Maybe this will change it," Finn said, than leaned in to kiss.
"I gotta go," I said running out of the room.
"Rey, wait!" He yelled but I ignored him. I just couldn't be with him right now.
I got on a bus and began returning home. Millions of thoughts filled my head. "What will dad think? How can I still continue my Jedi training? And what about Finn, what's going to happen to him. If I know anything about my dad, he'll probably force Finn to leave the galaxy and go to one far far away!" "Control your anger!" I had to force myself to remember as I walked into my house, hoping my dad wasn't home. He was.
"Hey Rey," he said, "how was training."
"Great," I lied.
"You sure? I can sense somethings not right."
"I'm fine, really."
I walked to my room. I had to talk to someone. Other than my dad, he'd never take it well. Than it hit me, Aunt Leia.
"I'm going for a walk," I say when i get to the living room.
"Be careful," my dad says as I leave.
I walk out of the apartment and walk over to Leia's apartment.
"Please be here," I mumble to myself as I'm knocking on the door. The door opens and its my uncle.
"Is Leia here?" I ask.
"No," he Says. Straight forward much.
"When will she be back?"
"Later."
"Ok, I'll come back in a few hours," I said. I love my uncle but he can be so straight forward some (all) times.
I walk outside and notice Leia's speeder outside. She looks to have about ten grocery bags.
"Let me help you," I say taking haft the bags.
"Thanks," she said, "what do you need?"
"How do you know?"
"I felt it in the force. You have something going on."
"Finnkissedme," I said, "and it felt good." I took a breath.
"How about we'll drop off these bags, than talk over coffee."
I helped Leia carry up the bags.
"Put these away," she told Han.
"Ok," he sighed.
"I love you," she said.
"I know."
Uncle Han- Mr. Straight Forward. Leia and I walked over to StarBucks.
"You get a table," she said, "what do you want?"
"Small nonfat sugar free vanilla frappé, no whip decaf."
I found a small table and much to my surprise, guess who else wanted StarBucks. Finn. Crap.
"Hey Rey," he said.
"Hey," I say.
"Listen, about earlier, I'm sorry. I had a few drinks last night, and I was kinda still drunk."
"The only problem is that it isn't the worse kiss I've ever had."
"Rey, I like you, and you like me, so can't we have a relationship?"
"It is my dream to be a Jedi, I can't give that up. So if that means we can't even be friends than so be it! Goodbye Finn Calrissian!"
Tear formed in my eyes as Leia walked over with our drinks.
"What happened," she asked. I explained everything to her. "Rey, honey, it's ok," she said. Only what if it wasn't.
