Hunter's point of view

What a rush! I am so happy right now. It's been a couple of weeks since Katie, Cara and I have all been together. I wonder if we should hang out.... I sent Cara a text but she didn't answer.. (Weird) she always answers... BUT! I'm not going to worry... 😉
Because maybe she'd respond back later.
Up my phones ringing.

"Hello?" I answer.
"Is this Hunter Hayes?" Uh it's on my cousin's  phone and there's a man on the other line?!!!
"Yes." I snap. "Where's my cousin? What's going on? I swear if you hurt her I'll hunt you down and I wil-."
"Son, calm down." He chuckles. "I'm a doctor and your cousin, Cara, has just been wheeled into a room. Which I am standing in now."
"She's in the hospital?... Let me talk to her."
"Alright..." He sighs as I grab my coat and put on my shoes to head out; with the phone by my ear.
"Hunter?" She coughs hazily.
"Cara.. Hi it's me Hunter." I babble. See I always knew I was going to babble. "I'm coming to get you right now, and bring you back home. Okay?"
"No." I instantly froze.
"What do u mean no." I growl.
She just starts bawling and hangs up.
Crap.
I just start running to the hospital because it's only like 4blocks away.

"Is she okay?" I ask once I get into the room she's in. I notice she's still bawling her eyes out... Or maybe it's because I just came in. Hmm.But Whatever!
Cara gives the doctor a look... Kind of like a sign. "She's fine." He nods, leaving the room.
"Hunter..." She cries. Literally.
"Oh Cara. What in the world happened?"
"I just had um... I mean I passed out. No biggy. " She fakely laughs. Ugh she's getting me so mad now.
"Don't lie to me."
"I'm not."
"Okay..." I snap." But if you JUST passed out, then why were you crying?"
Her expression changes, as she looks down into her lap.
"I'm a cryer Hunter. Remember? People use to make fun of me because of that."
"Who?" I can't imagine anyone making fun of her! If they did, they were jerks.
I have to admit though, I use to cry a WHOLE lot... Especially in junior high. People would always tell me "that's how I know you two are cousins... Both cry babies." I couldn't hit them back; even though sometimes I wanted too. That adrenaline of wanting to hit them just made me start crying, because again, I couldn't hit or punch them.
"Your friends." WHAT!
"They did?"
"Yeah..." She sniffs. "They always did."
"Oh Cara I'm so sorry."  We just have a cousin moment.

"I didn't know you were here." I hear a voice bellow into the room softly. I realize that's it's Katie and sit up.
"Hunter, can I talk to you in private..."
