Chapter 15: Surprise! Surprise!

A/N: sorry it's been so long since I've updated this...but I finally managed to get on here and update it some what :P Enjoy!

"Is there something wrong?" Ben asked me and I felt my heart beat quicken. I couldn't tell Ben that I was dead, he wouldn't believe me...would he? He'd laugh at me and leave me alone.

"Uh, n-no. E-Everything is f-fine," I said, my voice almost a whisper.

"C'mon. I can tell something's up. What's wrong?" Ben asked, sitting down next to me.

"I told, you nothing's wrong," I replied sternly.

"Onyx, just tell me what's up. You can tell me anything," Ben told me and grabbed my hand. I looked over at him and he gave me a small smile.

"Fine," I sighed. "Um, apparently I'm in great danger and I'm dead," I told him, mumbling the end of my sentence.

"Wait, you're in danger and what?" He asked me.

"I'm dead, Ben," I whispered. "I-I killed myself...just like my twin brother. I don't even remember it though."

"Onyx, you do realize that I'm dead, too?" Ben told me and I nodded my head. "You wouldn't have been able to see me if you were alive. If you could see me and you were alive, then you would've been some special someone...not saying you aren't special or anything. I mean, of course you're special, I'm just saying-"

"Okay Ben, I get it," I cut him off and giggled.

"Well, listen. I've done some thinking about earlier, when we ran into Brandon and Bianca, and I've just been confused," Ben told me and I tilted my head, confused.

"What are you confused about?" I asked him.

"Well, how they were able to see us. I mean, only dead people or other Creepypastas are usually able to see us," Ben informed me.

"Oh no," I gasped. "Hold on, I'll be right back!" I ran off to the small village where the animals and pixies were.

"Excuse, Ms., do you know where Squirrel is?" I asked a small pixie.

"Yes, I do. Follow me," she smiled and I walked with her. Her name was Amber and she wore a yellow and orange leaf dress. Her shoes were small brown flower petals and in her hair she wore a tiny sunflower.

"Here you go," Amber said and flew away. I watched her go and then looked back at the tree. There was a hole in the tree, just about where my face is. I knocked on the tree, right next to the hole.

"Go away, I'm trying to sleep," I heard Squirrel mumble from inside.

"Squirrel, it's me, Onyx. Sorry to bother you, but I need to ask you something," I whispered to Squirrel.

"What?" he asked, sounding a bit angered.

"Do you know any specials named Bianca or Brandon?" I asked him and suddenly he was in the frame of the hole.

"Yes, I do," Squirrel answered. "How do you know them?"

"They were kids in my class back in school. We saw them earlier..." I answered, trailing off.

"What happened?" he asked me.

"They attacked Ben and I, but we managed to get them to leave...unharmed of course," I answered, giving him a small smile.

"That's good. You should've brought them with you. You'll be working with them anyways," Squirrel informed and I gasped. I let a small scream of frustration and anger before taking a deep breath.

"Sorry about that," I apologized and Squirrel shook his head.

"Not a problem," he smiled. "Now, you need to find Brandon and Bianca."

"Can't you find them?" I asked Squirrel.

"No, but I can tell you that they are close," Squirrel answered and ducked back into his tree. I left the small village and went back to Ben.

"Where'd you run off to?" Ben asked me curiously.

"Oh, uh," I paused, wondering if I could tell him or not. I decided that I could. "Well, this squirrel found me and it talked to me. Yes, talked to me, and it turns out that I'm a 'special' or what ever. And a very powerful special as well, so now I'm in danger and we need to find Brandon and Bianca."

"Wait, let me get this straight. You're a 'special' and your in danger? And the people we just ran into, we need to find them again?" Ben asked me and I nodded my head.

"Come on. Let's go find Brandon and Bianca," I told Ben and stood up. Ben stood up and we walked back into the forest. Within 15 minutes, we found them.

"Ugh, what're you guys doing here?" Bianca asked.

"You need to come with us," I told them.

"Why?" Brandon asked me.

"You'll find out in a minute or two. Now, let's go," I said and we walked back to the willow tree. We went to the magical place and I heard Bianca and Brandon gasp.

"I've seen this place before," Bianca said.

"You have?" I questioned her.

"Yeah, once in a dream. I remember there were voices telling me something, but I can't remember what," Bianca replied.

"Same here," Brandon interjected.

"Well, there's still something else that I need to show you two," I said, pointing at Brandon and Bianca.

"What about me?" Ben asked.

"I don't know about you, Ben. I'll ask Squirrel when we get there. Now, let's go," I said and walked off to the village. Brandon and Bianca walking behind me. We reached the village in a matter of minutes and I could tell that Brandon and Bianca were surprised.

"Well, I didn't see this in my dream," I heard Brandon whisper.

"Neither did I," Bianca replied.

"Hey guys," Squirrel said as he walked up to us.

"AAAH!" Bianca and Brandon yelled, startled at Squirrel.

"What?" Squirrel questioned. "Didn't see me in your dream either?"

"I do remember voices, just never any animals," Bianca answered and Brandon nodded.

"Well, come with me, specials," Squirrel said and started walking to the building.

"Specials?" Bianca whispered to Brandon and Brandon shrugged his shoulders. We followed Squirrel to the building where Bianca and Brandon would go through the tests. I was told to wait outside, so I did.

"Hey, Squirrel. I need to ask you something real quick," I told Squirrel before he went inside.

"Yes, what is it Onyx?" Squirrel answered, letting Bianca and Brandon inside.

"Well, do you know who I'm traveling with?" I asked Squirrel.

"Ben, correct?" Squirrel answered.

"Yes. Is he allowed to know that we're specials?" I questioned Squirrel.

"Uh," Squirrel paused for a second. "I'll need to ask the other Animals of the Forest. I'll back to you on that." And with that, Squirrel closed the door and left me outside. I walked around the small village, greeting new animals and fairies as I saw them. After what seemed like forever, Brandon and Bianca finally walked out of the building.
