**Onyx's POV**

I had just found out that Jane apparently hates me. The storm has finally passed, but when the power went out Jane had taken me out of Ben's sweet hold and tied me to a chair. She decided to give me a cut on my cheek and a heart shaped cut on my forearm. I laid in my bed in the guest room, some gauze and a wrap on my forearm and a huge band aid on my cheek. I wasn't sure how deep the cuts were, but they must've been bad. I opened my eyes and saw Ben standing in the corner. They still hurt and I could still vividly remember her giving me the cuts. I stared at Ben for awhile, then he noticed that I was up.

"You feeling okay?" He asked me and I nodded my head.

"For the most part. My head hurts a little and my cuts sting a little. Other than that, I'm fine. How long have I been out?" I replied.

"Just a few hours. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Do you need any medicine?" Ben answered, walking towards me.

"No. I'll be fine. I'll just need some more sleep," I told him.

Ben stopped at the side of my bed and grabbed my hand. He stroked the back of my hand with his thumb, and it made me blush. He kneeled down next to the bed and I watched him as he did so. Before I knew it, he was leaning in for a kiss. I would've never thought of myself actually kissing anyone ever!

Our lips finally made contact, and I could feel his soft lips on mine. This was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. I couldn't help but blush as we continued to kiss. After awhile, he pulled away and looked into my eyes.

"I-I'm sorry. I just...I just couldn't help myself," Ben told me, beginning to blush as he turned his head away.

"No. Ben. It's fine," I told him calmly and my face was probably as red as a tomato now. He looked at me again, and blushed some more. I smiled, but my vision started going blurry. My head started pounding, my body started going numb, and I didn't know what was happening.

"Onyx? Are you okay?" Ben asked, but his voice was muffled. Something was happening to me, but I didn't know what.

"B-Ben. Th-there's something wrong. I don't know what's happening! My vision is blurry, my body's numb, and I can barely hear anything!" I started telling Ben, and I felt tears stinging the back of my eyes.

"Ben, I don't feel good. I think I'm gonna..." I started to say, but never finished. My vision went black.

**Few hours later** **Third person POV**

"Is she up yet?" Jeff asked Ben, and he shook his head.

"No. I don't know what happened," Ben told him, tears starting to blur his vision. A tear trickled down his cheek, and landed on my face. Jeff walked over to Ben and placed his hand on his shoulder. Ben looked up at Jeff, but quickly looked back down. He didn't want to take his eyes off of Onyx. He just couldn't.

"Ben. I-I'm sure she'll be fine," Jeff told him, but Ben just shook his head.

"She's barely breathing," Ben answered, and Jeff finally noticed that Onyx was hardly breathing.

"Ben. I can't stand to see you like this. She'll be fine. I can tell," Jeff tried to tell him, but Ben just remained quiet.

"Please just leave me alone," Ben told Jeff and Jeff nodded.

"Okay. I'll leave you alone," Jeff walked out of the room, leaving Ben behind.

**Two hours later** **Onyx's POV**

I opened my eyes and gasped for air. I sat up in my bed and looked around. The room was dark and the door was closed. I let my eyes adjust to the light and noticed that no one else was in the room. My throat was dry, so I decided to get some water. I stood up, and my head started spinning. I back down on the edge of my bed, and took a deep breath. I stood up slowly this time, and now I felt fine. I shuffled over to the door. I glanced out into the hallway, but there was no sign of life. I shrugged my shoulders and shuffled down stairs. I heard voices, so I walked as quietly as I could. The voices were coming from the living room, so I decided to listen in. I heard Slenderman, Jeff, Ben, Masky, and Hoodie talking. They were talking about me.

"So, what? Are we just gonna assume Onyx is dead or are we going to try and revive her?" Ben asked, sounding like he was on the verge of tears.

"No, no. I doubt she's dead, but we've tried everything we can. We'll just have to wait and see," Slenderman answered.

"Are you sure? I can't just lose her!" Ben pleaded.

"Ben, like I said, I'm sure she's fine. We just have to wait and see. She's strong, and I'm sure she'll be up before we know it," Slenderman told Ben.

"Still, we can't just give up," Jeff interjected and I assumed everyone else was silently agreeing.

"Jeff, we aren't giving up. We're giving her a chance to revive on her own," Slenderman replied calmly.

"Listen, we should still keep watch on her. Even if she is unconscious," Masky told everyone.

"I agree. Jane could still be after her. I mean, we did take her knife, but she might have other knives," Hoodie added.

"True, but I've been keeping a close eye on Jane. I won't let her do that again," Slenderman told everyone.

Suddenly, a crazy idea popped up in my head, a sly smile forming on my face.

"Seriously, you guys worry to much. I'm fine! Up and moving! I'm assuming that Jane just covered her knife in some kind of poison or something, making me pass out. I have been a victim of food poisoning before. Trust me, I know what that's like. I survived from food poisoning, and I survived from this. Yeesh! You guys gotta stop worrying so much!" I said, walking into the living room. Everyone just stared at me, and looked like they just saw a ghost.

"You guys look like you just saw a ghost or something," I told them. Ben ran over to me and tackled me with a tight hug. I hugged him back, breathing in his lovely scent.

"Oh Onyx. I was so worried," Ben whispered in my ear.

"I could tell," I whispered back.
