Finding Onyx

Chapter 19: Returning

A/N: Sorry for previous chapters always ending on some random part, this time it will (hopefully) be different.

**Ben's POV**

I looked down at the gem in my hands. I sat down on Onyx's blanket.

"Hey Ben, you okay?" Bianca asked me.

"Yeah, fine," I replied.

"Do you want anything to eat?" She questioned me.

"No, I'm not hungry," I replied.

"Do you wanna talk?" Bianca offered.

"No thanks, I'm fine," I answered her. It's been three days and I've been sitting here watching Onyx's gem, waiting for her to return. I've only been munching on a few candy bars every now and then.

"Well, I'm here if you ever want or need to talk," Bianca told me with a small smile.

**Time skip to a few days later**

I was sitting with Onyx's gem, waiting for her to come out when it started glowing. I stood up abruptly and watched Onyx's gem float up into the air. I watched it as a grey light shown from it, then came Onyx. She softly landed on the ground on her feet, but she looked different. Her hair was cut short in the back and longer in the front. The front of her hair reached her chin and you could see both of her eyes, one blue/green the other a violet purple. And now it seemed as if she wasn't wearing any clothes but they were stuck to her body, almost as if they had melted to her and she couldn't take them off. Her torso was black and her legs were painted grey. Her feet were black, but the toes of her feet were the same color as her pants. She had dark grey skin now, and didn't even look human.

"O-Onyx?" I stuttered. She looked over at me and smiled.

"Ben!" Onyx shouted. She gave me a huge hug and I hugged her back.

"Oh Onyx, I've missed you," I smiled.

"I'm sorry it took so long for me to come back. It was hard to figure out how I wanted to look," Onyx admitted, pulling away from the hug. She pushed her lips against mine and I kissed her back. We pulled away from the kiss and saw Brandon and Bianca running towards us from their training.

"Onyx? You're back!" Bianca screamed happily. I guess Unicorn had her because then Unicorn bounded from the trees of the forest she whinnied happily and trotted towards us. Brandon and Bianca hugged Onyx and I, and when Unicorn reached us she was in her human form, so then she could join in on the group hug. Once we all pulled away from the group hug, Unicorn shifted back to her horse form.

"Alright Onyx, I don't suppose you took so long due to training?" Unicorn asked jokingly.

"No, but I'm ready to start training ASAP," Onyx replied, standing up straight.

"Well, let's go train for a little bit today. Tomorrow, you will train with Bianca and Brandon," Unicorn informed Onyx. She nodded her head in agreement.

"Alright, let's go. I'll talk to you later Ben," She smiled at me and gave me a kiss on the lips before running off with Unicorn to train.

"Don't worry. She'll be back," Bianca told me.

"I hope so," I smiled at her.
